Very horrible customer service.
I emailed a letter regarding my experience to them.
" My friends and I were planning on visiting your establishment yesterday afternoon. And all I can say is we will never be stepping foot in your pub.
Let me give you the story about your horrid customer service. We had visited your liquor store. Was greeted by a nice young lady who helped us. Was wonderful and polite. We returned to our vehicle to grab our bags to put them on our boat before we headed into the pub to have some appetizers and a beverage while we waited for another couple to arrive. As we where on our way to put our things on our boat and head back.
A stout man with a beard yelled across the parking lot. "If your going on the boat you are not allowed to park here". Now I could clearly see the sign that was directly in front of where I was parked that said "parking for alexanders beach pub and liquor store only". I parked there with my intention of using the liquor store and the pub. Hence why I was parked in that area.
Being my first time to that area, I was going to ask the waitress while Having my meal where I should park When we headed out on our boat for the remainder of the afternoon. Instead I asked the wonderful young lady in the liquor store and was also informed the person who yelled at me was the owner Garry.
I understand you are more than likely have people park in your designated parking and use it for going out on a boat. I find it appalling that you make that assumption that everyone is going to do that. I feel that a more constructive way to go about it would be to ask "excuse me, you are more than welcome to park here if you are using our restaurant or liquor store. But please move your vehicle if you are heading out on a boat. Thank you."
In conversation with some people since the incident it has been brought to my intention that this is a common occurrence; staff yelling at patrons to get out of their parking lot.
I feel that the customer service needs to greatly improve, and Alexanders beach front pub is somewhere I will not be giving by business to or recommending to family and/or friends any time in the near future. "
I have received no answer in regards to their actions. It seems they are proud of their actions towards the...

We arrived during brunch, however there was no brunch menu. We were presented with a breakfast and lunch menu with standard pub fare. I had a pound of Sriracha Lime wings. It was served with one celery and one carrot stick and some ranch dressing. The celery stick was all right. However, the carrot stick was obviously a little old as it had turned white on the outside. The wings were bang on. Not too hot with a hint of lime. You know how you get some wings and they over cooked and the meat is dried out? Well not these. The wings were cooked just right and were not greasy. The other flavors they had were hot, buffalo, honey garlic, BBQ, honey mustard, lemon pepper, salt and pepper. I would definitely recommend the wings. One of my companions had the blackened tuna burger with a side salad. The tuna seemed to be seasoned with Cajun spices and then blackened. It also had blue cheese and wasabi mayo which tasted like Dijon mustard; served with a slice of tomato, lettuce and slices of red onion on an onion bun. The tuna was not blackened, though it was served rare. The flavors didn't work well together so the burger was deconstructed and only the tuna was eaten along side the spring salad which had a big slice of cucumber and a slice of golden yellow beet. My companion said she would not recommend the tuna burger. My two other companions shared the turkey and brie club sandwich which was served on cranberry sourdough bread along with a generous amount fries and some ketchup. They both enjoyed the sandwich and said there was a good amount of turkey but not much brie. They would recommend the turkey sandwich. For beverages we had double cesars which were on special and a couple of coffees. The cesars were tasty, served with a traditional celery instead of a pickled something or other. The coffees were served in big cups. It got busier so our server was busy with the other tables and didn't pay any more attention to us. Overall, a great view with standard pub fare and a maybe a few tasty menu items. They have a liquor store next store...
Read moreI was a patron in your pub last night. I was sitting down below the bar inside with a few of my lady friends. I witnessed your staff getting intoxicated on shift last night. Dustin or dusty I think his name was, was your bartender. I assume the people sitting at the bar are his regulars or friends by the amount of alcohol I watched them all consume together. It was quite appalling to see that in an establishment your employees are drinking on shift. As I watched your staff and the regulars at the bar throw a few back 2 ladies came to stand at the counter. A brunette and a blonde one young one older and they stood there waiting while your staff had a bunch of bromance moments behind the counter. Honestly confused who even works there let alone appalled by the actions of your staff in your establishment.
Now I do not know what was said but the man that was behind the counter must be you the owner Dusty, because you screamed you were the owner as you threw a temper tantrum in front of customers and other staff freaking at those two ladies who had the look of shock on their faces. I couldn’t believe how you and your staff taunted these ladies and I made it a point to find the ladies and give them my number because I am more then happy to write a statement on their behalf.
Your staff continued to start a problem with their table. The father/husband I could see was clearly telling your staff to back off but they didn’t. It ended with them pushing to far and the father/husband punching a hole in the wall in your establishment while your staff taunted them.
I watched as a guy with a peg leg come out the kitchen door and push the younger girl by her face. I am an older lady and can’t believe that your establishment is full of drunks that work there. I am spreading the word, I have told critics, called the paper, and asked castanet to do a write up. This clearly was abuse towards women at your establishment.
Be ready, I helped them with a...
