Subway — Restaurant in Comox

The food was good i just had a weird experience, i was in today ordering food from a girl named nicole and i got the impression she was making work really hard for the gentlemen working with her behind the counter. She was telling him not to take up the whole counter when he was making orders behind her on table, he slides the sandwich up beside her so he can make room for his other sandwiches and she slides it away showing obvious disdain, once he had caught up with his five or more sandwiches he says to the customer nicole will help you with your veggies so he can help the next customer, she responds by saying loudly and rudely infront of us all that they are all for the same order and that he can do it. I asked her to panini my sandwich after i had gotten everything i had asked for and she grunts and says "now you tell me" anyways she paninis it and another girl comes to cash us and nicole talks to her and they obviously whisper to eachother about there disdain for the other employee, im not sure if any of this is warranted but i feel like theres better ways to deal with discomfort from other employees me and my gf felt rather uncomfortable and sorry for the gentlemen. I know this is an enviroment i would not feel...

I would like to give a Huge shout out for the Guthrie rd Comox lo action of Subway. I buy a lot of subway subs all around as I work and travel but the Comox location on Guthrie road is hands down the very best Subway I could ever find and I go out of my way and plan ahead just to have a Sub sandwich made by them. They make very clearly the best subs sandwiches I can find! Nit just the most fillings, but that is true. They also make the very nicest made and best laid out subs I could ask for. I have been buying Subway subs for at least 30yrs now and the Comox location is absolutely stellar! Happy people making the very nicest and best subs I have ever had, hands down! Try them out. I guarantee they will make you happy and make you a super good sub sandwich that can be eaten happily and cleanly and simply enjoyed. I have been saying this for some time now and tonight's turkey breast sub is proof positive! Sandwich artists They are and the mood and atmosphere is always happy ajd joyful. Please give all these people a raise, they definitely deserve recognition...

We used to frequent this Subway in the past to the point where everyone on staff knew my daughter's sandwich. It had been a while so I certainly wasn't expecting that but I was honestly surprised how little personality the girl at the counter had today. My daughter was joking around with her and she looked at her like she had two heads. She almost snapped at me when I said to please make the sandwich like it is on the board. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day and is usually friendly but, as people with many years in customer service, we were perplexed by her manner. We really missed Mikey and Jacqui today! We will give it another chance, but with three more to choose from and those locations having staff with more personality, we may be going to another location in the future. I'm sure it's all the same to the owners but it was a disappointing return to this...
