Bergs Famous Ice Cream — Restaurant in Conception Bay South

Staff are the friendliest people and their customer service is impeccable. Ice cream selection is also amazing and I always have trouble deciding what to get because of the incredible variety. My only issue is the building's air conditioning is terrible. It's an ice cream shop, it needs to be cold to keep the ice cream cold in the summer, which unfortunately is not the case for this place. Often times the ice cream is soft and I've seen customers not able to get the flavour they want because it's gone soft from the heat. This heat also takes an immense toll on the staff and you can see on their faces that not only are overheated, they are also genuinely exhausted from the lack of air flow in this old building. The lack of AC needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY before the owner of this store starts losing both staff, and customers. feels get discriminated, no one wanted to serve us when my friends and me came in, we were waiting in the line, and staffs were serving customers behind us so they could just get their ice cream and pay. And then no one took care of us and we did payment first and let the lady in cash know what we wanted. After that, they made us waited, half and hour later, everyone behind us kept getting their orders and still no one wanted to serve us. We checked with the lady in the ice cream station, she was rude and told us we should wait and we blocked the waiting line. The girl who did one milk shake for us 30 mins after we placed the order and we were still waiting for the ice cream. We complained that to the manager, and the manager refunded us. I've been to this Bergs location about three or four times and honestly, I'm not impressed. While there are many options of ice cream to choose from, as well as friendly staff, I've had a reoccurring issue of finding hair in my ice cream. Not on top of it, but mixed inside of it. Each time I went, I made sure to get a different ice cream flavor in case it was simply a one time thing. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Each and every time I went, there was hair mixed into my ice cream that I'm positive didn't belong to me, my companions or any of our pets.
