This is a complex review... A long review... I'm a regular. I feel like I know some of the staff and some of the people I see. I normally have a simple order. Normally the same thing. I normally love it. I normally get exactly what I ordered and expected. Staff are friendly food is good. Today I tried to "eat healthy". I ordered chicken strips with a "kale Caesar". I know what a Caesar salad is. Normally simple. Normally premixed with the dressing. Scent of anchovies. Some bacon. Parmesan and a few croutons. What I got was a box of kale. And a packet of Caesar dressing and a bag or croutons. No chance of mixing the kale with the tablespoon of dressing. This salad might appeal to some but in my opinion it's a lazy box of kale and a package of dressing. No bacon. No Parmesan. Just kale. Maybe this is popular. Maybe it's too healthy for me. I ate some. First bite had a bunch of dressing. Not bad. Second bite no dressing. Not my fave. Third bite was rotting slimy wilted kale. You know... When the package of salad has gone liquid on the bottom? I brought it back. They offered to get me another one. I declined... I really couldn't do that... I thought no... If I have another one with slimy kale I may never touch kale again. Hey it's a good reason. If it was me I would have offered a refund for the grossness. But I wasn't going to ask for one. The thing is if one of them has gone liquid the others probably have too. Maybe it's not popular enough. I could understand that. IT IS PLAIN KALE (with optional croutons and a tiny portion of dressing) which as I mentioned you have no hope of mixing... Whitespot: You missed the mark here. Kale by itself is not (my opinion) a salad. I think you need a little more complexity than that. I've had whitespot Caesar salad. Bit of lemon. Nice bacon bits. Delicious. This was not even similar. I will try kale again next year....
Read moreHadn't visited this place in over two years due to the last visit was a problem of communication and management direction.
Decided to give it a try again.
As pulling up to the drive thru speaker to order, was received by a female voice who had difficulty answering questions about the ingredients. After about three minutes of having a hard time for the person to understand me, I was told to pull forward to the window to give my order.
After restarting the conversation, the order was finally taken after more difficulty of communication. I then paid and was told to pull over to another area and wait for the order.
About five minutes later received the completed order and went home.
The food was great, which I remembered, as well as the price being a bit higher to comparable locations elsewhere.
I would recommend patience with this location, as there is a slight language barrier. This situation can create immediate misunderstandings due to the lack of patience by both the customer and the staff.
I will eventually return, but hopefully things will run...
Read moreMy son loves burgers - it’s his favourite food. We decided to throw him a surprise birthday celebration at our local Triple O’s for the dining portion of the party. Organizing it was really easy! I popped into the restaurant and explained to Raj, the shift supervisor, what we had in mind. She told me to pre-order the food by email and she reserved enough tables to accommodate our group of 20, and had our meals organized for us. All the staff were pleasant, attentive, helpful and friendly to our whole party. The food was delicious and everyone got their meals exactly the way they wanted them. The kitchen paid extra attention to the meals of the three people in the party who had food allergies and sensitivities. Thanks to everyone working tonight for making our son’s surprise birthday...
