Absolutely by far worst customer service I have ever received. I'm not feeling well, and wanted to grab something quick for lunch while I am at work. I ordered a big mac with the coupon through the McDonald's app. It auto-selected the walmart location, by the time I got there (5 mins) the app stopped working and I couldn't pull up my order. As I was trying to get it to work on my phone, the girl simply stood there with her arms crossed asking me what the order number was and stating that they never received it. After experiencing her attitude with crossed arms, etc. I decided it wasn't worth my time and I would go to the other location s minutes down the road - surely they would be able to help. I waited in their long line up and when I got to the speaker I was trying to explain what happened, and was cut off by the employee who exclaimed "yeah, the app isn't working, we've had other issues with that today." ...... so, I said right, that's what I was getting at, the app isn't working, but I would still like to place my order and have the coupon ordered. I was told they couldn't do that. I said it's not my fault the app isn't working, and she retorted that it also wasn't her fault. I exclaimed that's not what I was suggesting, but since their app isn't working I think they should still honour the price. She wouldn't. So, I asked to speak with a supervisor. He gave me the same story, and even lied to me to say that he couldn't do anything as far as discounting the meal from their cash system (which I have worked with many cash systems in my life, and not one of them doesn't have some kind of feature in order to address situations like this.) and that there was nothing he could do. I spent an hour on my lunch break, trying to order a meal from McDonald's app that wasn't working and none of the McDonald's would honour the price of their own coupon despite the issue being their fault. Total lack of appreciation for customers, and their time. WORST customer service I have received in an extremely long time and I will ensure that everyone is aware of how awful this...
Read moreGreat prices, friendly staff, has good coffee, tasty ice cream and hamburgers/fries however the owners of this location understaff and are not responsible for properly taking care of the property. Asphalt is always in need of repair near take out windows (requires concrete) and the inside condition of the restaurant is constantly dirty and in a state of chaos during dinner and supper rushes. These statements seems to be true of the location in Corner Brook also ....nothing worse then all dirty ketchup covered tables while the staff scurry to feed more people.
The staff are friendly although may be prone to improperly inputting your order which leads to issues, check your meal for accuracy before departing the property. Perhaps if staff were paid better they would care more about their jobs, McDonalds Corp and their franchisees ain't hurting as per their earnings...maybe care and share is a great way to get the best talent....corporate slavery is a huge issue with these multinationals. Also some workers have differences which make their job more complicated then for you or I, be kind they deserve the same rights as you enjoy.
The Philippine workers are amazing people, fast, friendly and accurate so please be friendly to them....they deserve to make money since our citizens berate the job and allow corporations and the wealthy to pay slave earnings....the jobs our citizens will not do....work for some of the most profitable corporations...
Read moreI order quite a lot from McDonald’s and it’s usually a decent experience. You get what you expect. I went to McDonald’s this evening and had the must unpleasant visit. I went through the drive and the order screens weren’t working… I ordered my simple order and had trouble hearing the person taking my order. When I went up to the first window to pay for my order I made sure that my order was correct, and I made a mistake with my order and I was apologetic and fixed the order and payed, then went to the second window to receive my order. The lady at the last window gave me my order and I let her know it was completely wrong. She then asked me “can you just take it?”. And my order was for someone else not for me. So I said “ um, no is it alright if I get my correct order?”. She then snatched back the order and slammed the door. If I was rude to her I would completely understand the way she acted but like I wasn’t and still. She was very saucy, when she then gave me my drinks they weren’t even filled. But I didn’t say anything. And I said “thank you so much, have a nice evening” she then replied with a simple “yup”. Anyways that’s the end of the spill. And I tried calling McDonald’s no answer.
