Coffee Love Bug — Restaurant in Courtenay

The owner just treated my poor wife with rudeness and refused to make a drink the way my wife had asked for (a latte with cinnamon steamed in). Every other coffee shop does this for my wife and always without any problems or concern for their equipment. The owner of this coffee shop refused to use cinnamon in their steamer and was blatantly rude to my wife who was already having a bad day to begin with. Laziness to do what the customer asks in any line of customer service is piss-poor to begin with, but that mixed with a rude comment about not wanting cinnamon in the steamer is a let down to those who just want something enjoyable in their coffee to make their day just a bit better. Was having a bad day and asked to have cinnamon steamed in with my latte milk. Every cafe I have ever gone to has done it for me and it's a special treat that I get for myself. One young lady told me very politely that she wasn't able to to that as her boss rudely informed me that she didn't want cinnamon in her steamer. It doesn't do any damage to a steamer whatsoever and it is good practice to clean your steamer any ways. It wouldn't have been any trouble. I've been coming here for awhile with my husband and won't be any more. Everything about this place is phenomenal . The local art and photography on the walls, the local live bands playing, the customer service, the coffee. When I went in I was greeted with a cheery person behind the counter who immediately lifted my spirits with their joyful attitude and service. The prices are incredible; the lowest I've seen at a coffee shop yet. The coffee was incredible as well, and didn't take very long for them to make. My only complaint is that the band was a bit loud.
