I’m addicted to London Fogs and Matchas so I’ve been to every specialty and big chain coffee shop on the island AND mainland and Rhodos literally makes the best drinks I’ve ever had. No other place is good enough for me now. I order 1- 4 drinks from them daily lol! Unlike other coffee shops, their drinks are always so thick, creamy and perfectly sweetened, and the baristas are super talented at beautiful latte art! Rhodos always has such friendly and great customer service. They also have a restaurant. Whenever I rate restaurants, I rate the food on taste and presentation, customer service and the atmosphere, and most importantly to someone autistic like me, is I look for tables that are far enough apart with enough privacy because there is nothing worse to me than an overcrowded restaurant or cafe with tables right next to one another, and Rhodos excels at all of these things. They have a lot of seating options compared to other cafes (indoor and outdoor tables) and the restaurant section has comfortable table options with a lot of privacy. Beautiful, delicious food!

Great staff, everyone seems to have pride in working there and is so friendly and engaged. Wish there were a few more vegan options, but glad there are a few. Disappointing it costs more to use plant milk in beverages though. EDIT: seems ownership is questionable. Not sure how you can lose money on plant based milk when a retail carton costs less than $5 and you claim to lose money charging $1 per beverage with plant milk. By your logic, you can only add plant based milk to less than 5 coffees in order to lose money. Tons of places dont charge for it all, not sure who you think charges $1.25 or more. As far as blaming minimum wage, how many jobs and how many hours do you want your employees to work to avoid food and rent? Min wage has fallen so incredibly far behind inflation that it is impossible to live on min wage working 40hrs a week. Definitely not comfortable coming back knowing this is the kind of out of touch greedy ownership.

Wow, what a great breakfast! We were visiting Courtenay and I have a thing for trying out little coffee shops/bistros for brunch. We heard that the Benny's here were the best in town and I can definitely agree with that. The hollandaise sauce was top notch and they were generous with it. My husband had a traditional breakfast and loved it as well. The eggs were perfect and the hash browns/fried potatoes were amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy while still having ample space for patrons. Staff were friendly and efficient as well. We had a snow storm the night before and a lot of places were closed so I'm glad we had a chance to come here. Will definitely come back when we visit again.

I had the Rhodos Rancheros breakfast with a side of chorizo sausage. It is a gluten free breakfast with a black bean and zucchini patty instead of bread, with two poached eggs and a slightly spicy chipotle hollandaise. I can say it was honestly the best breakfast I've ever had, it was so incredibly delicious! The patty was so flavorful, eggs were poached perfectly and the hashbrowns were crispy. The hollandaise was flavorful and smooth, and my matcha latte was excellent. The team worked smoothly together in this beautiful atmosphere, and provided thoughtful and happy service. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and as someone who can't have gluten I was so excited to see something new and different, and not have to eat a gross gluten free bun. Amazing place and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, drink, service...
