When it comes to a franchise business, there is nothing more irritating than the lack of consistency. I was heading to Victoria today so I needed to go to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. There was a Starbucks on my way that I've used many times before that always has my favourite coffee the Oleato Latte. Instead of stopping there I decided that because there's a Starbucks at the terminal that I would go there instead. Of course, they were out of the olive oil. Every other Starbucks I go to has a wall full of it so this tells me one of two things. The manager at this franchise should not be a manager because they can't keep stock of the standard offerings or Starbucks does not do a good job of ensuring consistency across their franchise. I know this is a first world problem but I was disappointed and I think it's best you know in case you do care about consistency. Read moreI take the ferry to victoria regularly, and always try a stop at Starbucks, and usually arrive early so I can. I honestly don't understand it but EVERY time the gals working there are slow, inefficient, borderline rude and completely unaware. I'm don't know what it is but these employees are not up to usual Starbucks standards.....at all. Today I had 40 minutes before the call to go to our vehicles. ...you think that'd be enough but not for these poor lost souls. Today, after waiting 28 minutes I decided to ask for refund because they hadn't even begun my order. I was given attutude for asking for a refund and was told it was taking so long because they were working on web orders. We did end up with one coffee from our order, a latte that was all foam and espresso, no milk. Come on Starbucks you do better everywhere else it's time to train these employees, or hire new ones. Read moreWe were there buying our coffee the girl name Michelle who was serving us was rude and got upset when we were deciding our order. And later on when our order was ready she kept our coffee on the counter in a very aggressive manner. We were a two families travelling and were taking a family photo when she shouted that we can’t take a photo as she said that we can’t include them in it. Moreover we showed her the photo where none of the employee was visible but still she asked us to delete the photo in bla very rude and aggressive manner which no one would accept. This’ll even though there’s no sign saying no photos allowed and it’s the first Starbucks where we got service like this as in our experience only Starbucks gives the best service but this is the worst experience ever.
