McDonald's — Restaurant in Dieppe

Terrible food. Consistently cold, stale burgers and fries. Don't even waste your time.

UPDATE August 16, 2025. So I wasted my time and went back for an ice cream cone recently and this was something else. See picture. Handed me a cone upside down in a sundae cup, ice cream melted and dripping down the sides and hands it to me like it's no big deal. I look at the girl (my look says it all) and she says the ice cream is warm right now... are you for real??? You think that's acceptable?? Managers need to do their job and look into this type of disregard . Anyhow told her you should mention that to people then when they order. I asked for a new one that wasn't upside down in a cup! And what do you know they made a regular cone for me , wasn't the best but at least it was a cone. Anyhow , I'm guessing that they pre-made the cone and then because of the drivethru lineup it melted while I waited, but that's ridiculous to make an ice cream cone ahead of time and then hand me that garbage. Anyhow I am completely done with this location and McDonalds in general. Just complete trash and no regard for customer service or quality of products they are serving....

After a previous bad experience, our family was given a letter saying we would receive two sandwiched of our choice, two medium fries, and two drinks. We were happy to go back and try again, however when we reached the drive through and gave our order, we were told that we were not allowed to order the sandwich we wanted unless we paid additional (double big mac) regardless of whether that was the original order that was being replaced. We weren't happy but the lady was clear, that was the policy regardless of our letter. Once that was clarified, I said I wanted the sandwich to be without pickles or onions. It didn't come up in the screen, so when I arrived at the window to pay I reiterated that we did not want pickles or onions on the double big mac.

Low and behold, when we got home there were pickles and onions on the sandwich.

Process is clearly an issue at this location, and courtesy by staff is lacking. We won't be back. We also won't take the time to contact the owner again, as even if he tries to do right by us, his staff will not abide by his words on a signed letter to...

Some employees cannot crack an egg or realize 4+ pieces of shell are cooking, some give you variable numbers of meat patties in a double hamburger including 0 patties, I even got scratch ticket dust in a sandwich once. Its full of surprises. Even beginner level employees will try harder when they are given a good salary and we all know McDonalds does not provide that. I often feel like the food was made out of hatred. But then, where else can we eat and be full for under 5$? The people there who really try though, are amazing and this review has nothing to do with them, they deserve more appreciation for working at a place that doesn't even offer holiday breaks, with a smile on their face, while dealing with a disfunctional kitchen filled with students.

Its McDonalds and probably the best one in town even with that said. If society knew more about cooking and good food we would have helped build a better burger empire, but people before us chose McDonalds and McDonalds is what we have litterally all over the place.
