My recent visit to Dairy Queen grill and chill left me pleasantly surprised. Here's my review of the experience:
Ambiance: The restaurant had a vibrant and lively atmosphere, with comfortable seating arrangements and a clean, inviting space. The energetic music added to the overall ambiance, creating an enjoyable dining environment.
Service: The staff were friendly and efficient, taking orders promptly and delivering them with a smile. They were attentive to customer needs and readily available to address any concerns. The service was quick, ensuring minimal waiting time, which is especially valuable in a fast-food setting.
Food Quality: The food, true to its fast-food nature, was flavorful and satisfying. The menu offered a wide range of options, from classic burgers to delicious sides and beverages. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced. The restaurant maintained consistent taste and portion sizes, which was commendable.
Cleanliness: The restaurant maintained a high level of cleanliness, with well-maintained dining areas and restrooms. The staff regularly cleared tables, ensuring a clean and organized environment for customers.
Value for Money: The pricing was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. The restaurant also offered combo meals and special promotions, making it a cost-effective choice for a quick bite.

Read moreThis use to be our go place but the last 5 years its been terrible. Cold greasy fries and a real cheap amount, its only a potato which you might receive half of! To loose customers cheeping fries is bad business. The burgers are terrible, I guess they went for the cheapest soy ones like the train car just north of Orillia with grease flying out of the exhaust tower. We tried 4 times in the last year but never again. She even tried chicken fingers that was mostly batter and not much meat to speak of. If your ever north of here in south River the Fry Guy has the biggest medium fries for $5.65 that two people could eat to full, he says why cheap on such a cheap product. He cuts two huge spuds for his medium fries which are cut fresh daily and gives out a playing card for customer food identification and if you get the Joker your whole meal or large family meal is free, now that is customer service! The other thing was understanding person on order board speaker and having to ask several times what they were saying. English as a second language would definitely help along with personal hygiene because the sever smelled like BO so bad we threw out our last order. This has to be the WORSE DAIRY QUEEN IN ONTARIO and its a shame because years ago it was one...

He acted like he didn't want to be there and his hat wasn't even done up and his name tag wasnt on right (though at least he had one on). Anyways he served me and my friend, forgot to give us our number, then tried to give us the wrong sundaes and then walked past us with our food and came back confused going "uhh chicken fingers?" And asked us where we were sitting when clearly we were just standing at the counter. Then when we asked for our cups he gave us one before getting reminded that it's supposed to be two.
As we were eating he spilled something on the floor and left it. My friend slipped and told another employee. All she did was place a "careful wet sign" and walked away. Then proceeded to complain that someone complained about it! Overall, if I am ever in that area again I don't think I am going there. Sorry. I think they need a better manager and...
