Pizza Dorval Cucina San Leone — Restaurant in Dorval

In regards to Ms. Mtl's review. I am a full time cook at San Leones and regularly enjoy the food we serve. I wouldn't normally respond to a review but this one personally offended me. And is so blatantly untrue I couldn't help myself.

I personally clean this restaurant. (in fact i was just on a ladder cleaning the ceiling..)And it is definitely clean. I have never, in my whole life, served rotten food. Especially not from the restaurant I work at. And, as I said, I regularly eat here. My standards are too high to ever eat somewhere that has rotten food. I find it very interesting that you claim to be a customer, but you seem to know how he treats his staff and what produce he orders. Sounds more to me like a bitter ex-employee who didn't make the cut or a competitor who can't keep up with our excellent food. i hope that isn't the case for you because that would be pretty sad. And you are right, we are not ALL Italian but one of the 2 beautiful ladies who work here is most definitely Italian and I dare you to tell her otherwise. Italian or not, our goal is to stay consistent so we are all trained to cook the same way. And the owner is 100% Italian, any one who has spoken to or seen him would know that within a minute of meeting him. He isn't rude, ( well, especially not to customers ) i'll admit hes a little quirky but i find that a selling point rather than a negative. He adds even more flavor to the place. You also seem to know how much he pays us. I am a cook at an italian pick up and delivery place, minimum wage + tips is pretty standard.

Not to mention we get to eat here no charge while we work. Which i need to avoid as I am trying to keep the pounds down. In fact, Ive managed to lose weight here because I work so darn hard cleaning the place. Thank you very much. this is also a point that a customer would not be aware of . So again, you aren't a customer.

I find it appalling that you would use a review of a small business in order to gain whatever you hope to gain out of that pathetic review. People legitimately use these reviews to pick a place to eat. Not read fake reviews by sad lonely people who have a bone to pick.

So ask you to be a grown adult. If you have a bone to pick and want to write completely false statements on my cooking and hard work keeping this place clean. I'm here every week day, stop by any time and I would be happy to address all the utter nonsense you chose to write about the restaurant I am a very happy...

The pizza, subs, fries and poutine are all AMAZING! Add to that the friendly staff, and excellent service, and you have a winner. To those complaining of long waits, yes, sometimes at peak times the delivery takes a while. That's because they're so busy, due to the quality of their food!

I've been in to pick up, and met the owner and seen the kitchen. I've worked in a commercial kit hen, and I know what a clean or dirty kitchen looks like. San Leone's kitchen is definitely clean! I don't know what the reviewer talking about the dirty kitchen was talking about... unless she confused this place with somewhere else. Never seen anything but clean, well-maintained kitchen facilities, staffed by friendly people!

Pro tip: if you have leftover fries (rare because they're sooooo tasty), they reheat really well on a sheet pan in the oven at 425°. Don't let 'em go to waste!...

This was a terrible experience, and I didn't even get to eat their food. I ordered directly from their website. I received an email from restozone, saying a 55 minute delivery time. 90 minutes later, it didn't arrive.

Naturally, I'm hungry, so I call to see where it is. It takes me 3 phone calls to get through, including being hung up on once, and being placed on hold for 15 minutes.

This was a 0 star experience. A simple formula of late/non delivery + poor customer service warrants it. Order your food from somewhere else. I don't know if this pizza is any good or tastes like cardboard, but honestly it doesn't matter if it is straight out of Italy. It is not worth the experience.

Update: The delivery person just showed up at my door two hours and forty minutes (2:40!) after the order was placed. If you're trying to feed your family, don't call...
