Kellys Orchard — Restaurant in Pointe-Claire

I've ordered from this place twice with UberEats and here are my experiences:

-The burgers are delicious. I've tried the Jameson burger and the Maple-Glazed chicken burger. Both were fantastic and well executed. I definitely recommend!

-Their french fries however, are just awful. First time I ordered, they arrived cold and slightly soggy (temperature could be due to the Uber driver failing to use a thermal bag, although the burger was nice and hot), lots of tiny bits but they were edible at least, despite not being very appetizing.

The 2nd time was just sad: they had clearly taken some fries that had just been sitting there and microwaved them. Some of the worst fries I've ever seen/tasted. I've worked at a restaurant before and there's no excuse for this; a whole barrel of skinned potatoes costs only a few dollars, so there's no reason to serve absolute garbage fries like that. If I'm paying $20+ for a meal, you better be frying me up some proper fries, not reheating some leftovers in the microwave. Very disappointed the lengths a restaurant will go to save a few pennies.

I would maybe give this place another chance in person, but I definitely won't order delivery...

I had a kinda disappointing visit yesterday, I think they are under new management and it really shows.I have been coming here for a few years and I notice big difference. First off the wine menu is horrible, and they have removed some really good items off the menu. I used to loved the chocolate cake for desert now its gone. I ordered the "apple crumble" if you want to call it that, it was quite literally a lukewarm canned apple filling that was gloppy and tasteless and had an oat cereal on top. it was literally in-edible,and they want to charge 10$ for it lol. Thankfully the service is amazing and our waitress removed it from the bill and even offered something else for free and apologized profusely. I really enjoy the food from Kelly's and order often through UberEats . Unfortunately my last order was not so great. I ordered a hot main, cake and a soft drink. The main and dessert were packaged together in a closed paper bag and the drink was nowhere to be found. I called the UberEats driver 3 times within seconds of the delivery to ask if he had the drink in his car but he wouldn't answer the phone. I did get refunded by Uber but I had nothing to drink so that was not satisfactory. The main was good but what I hadn't realized, and only saw when I opened the dessert package after eating my main, is that because the cake was packaged with the hot dish, the icing was all melted.
