This hurts to say because me and my family have always loved going to Mr Mikes but today left me frustrated. When we first sat down I noticed how cold it was and looking around it was clear that everyone else was also cold, when I brought it up to who I assume was the manager he said the heat wasn’t working and someone would be coming in 3 hrs to fix it, would have been nice it we were told before we sat down but not a big deal. My daughter ordered a steak medium rare and when it came out it was clearly medium well and closer to well then medium, again not a big deal we sent it back with our waitress only for the assumed manager to come and tell us it was in his opinion medium rare and being very condescending, not only am I a trained chef with 10+ yrs experience but the temperatures are shown on the menu and it was clearly well done he came back with a rare steak and said he made it in between medium rare and rare something I’ve never heard in the culinary world and the steak was clearly rare. I understand that the cooks in chain restaurants aren’t always perfect but the way we were spoken to is really the issue and not the food itself and as a woman and customer I don’t appreciate being talked down to. August 2024⭐️ So sad to update this review. The past few years we have been coming to Mr Mikes from the lake for our Anniversary. We came for dinner today. My steak (ordered medium) was so over cooked and dry it was inedible. I think our waitress was avoiding our table as she could see my uneaten steak sitting there. She never came over to ask how everything was. The manager offered to re-cook the steak but the other people in our party finished eating 5-10 minutes ago. The manager offered a free desert. Considering the meal was 38.99 (steak and shrimp), a free 10 dollar desert is inadequate. I thought this was a steakhouse. All 3 steaks were overcooked but mine was inedible. I am not upset that the cook made a mistake. Stuff happens. The manager could have handled this way better. Also if the waitress would have come over sooner there would have been time to re-cook the steak.

Horrendous service! We had a large group wanting to order, I followed the steps of emailing the general manager and pre-ordering off their specific menu (7 options only) priced at $22.99 including a pop or water bottle. I had provided the restaurant 3 days' notice of our orders. When we arrived, the food was cold and bills were incorrect, they charged us for the pop & waters $5 each and also over charged on the food options they provided. When I brought this issue up to management was told they would provide a dessert or gift card (some bills were overcharged by $20). I requested that we need to be credited back the over charges and was told to call the General Manager, when trying to call, my calls were blocked and he wouldn't speak to me. The manager working told us that she had "no idea we were even coming in".. Odd being that we had pre-ordered 40 meals for 4PM and specifically asked if the team could still sit in the restaurant to eat our meals.
