Problems began right from the start. First cashier asked us to order each of our promotions from the Tim Hortons App separately. Once we made our first purchase, the other promotions that were activated on our account did not work. We were then switched to another cashier who also had problems helping us and told us to simply try calling customer service to get help. This was while we were in line, at the restaurant, while other customers were waiting. Finally, a senior staff member came by and told us we probably had to wait 30 minutes before the app would refresh itself. 30 minutes! Again, while we were in line while a long lineup was forming behind us. Eventually, we were told the first cashier was wrong and we could've ordered everything together. They said they would just give us the promotion for the last item we wanted and bypass the app (something I think could've been done earlier). The last order came out incorrectly and the rest of our ordered items were cold by the time we were done our 20 minute attempt to order something quickly for the road. I blame the app more than the staff, but hopefully the staff at this Tim Hortons will try to learn more about the app and its features better and avoid giving inaccurate information...
Read moreIt was a nice afternoon, I make a mobile order, right? A large while milk, a crispy chicken craveable and some wedge fries because I thought why not, I get there and this lady proceeds to tell me that my order number doesn't exist. What?
There's a large white milk that no one is picking up and I'm too socially anxious to ask if that's mine because I already got told that my order 'doesn't exist'.
I decide to order something else physically instead, while they're putting a bag out by the order I mentioned earlier, still no one coming to pick it up, assuming that maybe, just maybe they screwed up and it is mine.
And as I order, she somehow confused LARGE WHITE MILK for LARGE REGULAR, and when I tried to call out the mistake she ended up just ignoring me and moving on, cool, I'll just toss this in the garbage then, it was gonna get wasted anyway wasn't it?
Anyway, seeing if I can't get my money back through the mobile app, because clearly my order "didn't exist" but it took my...
Read moreWent in as a couple because we had a decent sized order and wouldn't be able to carry it all one person. We made sure to wait outside until our turn and when we entered, an employee very rudely stated that we couldnt come in as a couple. I both work in food&beverage and frequent varying tim Horton's and know for a fact that the new covid safety requirements still allow people to come in as a couple. I will never go to this location again and should've listened to the suggestions that were given to my friends who also said that this location is literally "The worst in Ontario", I hope in the future they dont force other customers to walk around the entire building and wait outside while the customers other half has to juggle dangerously hot liquids. Covid is not an excuse to be rude to anyone (hence why I just did as I was told instead of informing your employee she was both being too rude about what she said, and being wrong in asking...
