Petit Passage Café — Restaurant in East Ferry

I will start off, it is an absolute error on your part if you do not order anything seafood here. My wife and I enjoyed, almost scarfed down the fish and scallop rolls/sandwiches. Actually these were the best scallops ever, out of all the Digby restaurants, this cafe has the best scallops and are very well prepared. Searing is the way to go, not deep fry. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. I had one bite of the fish sandwich, wife loved it so much she barely shared it. I got the cheeseburger just to try and I was still hungry and just not that special. Do yourself a favour and get only their seafood selection and ice cream. And then go watch some whales. We did not eat here. We went on one of their whale watching tours. Quite amazing. We saw one whale fairly quickly. But we kept going to different spots to see more. Our captain was in contact with other boats from different tours that were locating whales and telling all the boats where they were. After our tour, (at 4:55pm), many of us wanted to grab some food and use the washroom, (because the washroom on boat was broken), and the worker at the cafe literally slammed the door in our faces saying “we’re closed”.
