Went through the drive thru Saturday the 19th at 4:21pm and used a coupon for two 4-piece chicken strip baskets and fries for $13.99. The staff originally included two medium root beer's with our order, but then realized our coupon did not include drinks so we told them to take off the drinks. They gave us the two chicken strip baskets and told us to have a good day before we paid. Us being decent human beings with morals informed them we hadn't paid yet and proceeded to pay for our meal. The young man who seemed to be training looked grateful for our honesty. Later in the evening my friend checked her apple wallet which showed an overcharge of $21.75 so we returned to the location. We informed the cashier, Padtay, (I apologize for my spelling) about the situation and he was very friendly, but needed to get his manager. The manager was eating in the restaurant and seemed very unhappy and even shook his head when he was informed of the situation. He proceeded to look through electronic receipts for our order and when he was unable to find it he got angry at us for not having a receipt. I told him that we were not given a receipt and he said that we should have made sure we got one. Last time I checked it is not my responsibility to ensure DQ's employee's do their job appropriately because I am not the manager. The floor was covered in receipts, napkins, and fries in the kitchen so I wouldn't be surprised if the receipt ended up on the floor instead of in the bag. After this we were told that people try to scam them by doing this so they can't do anything about it if they can't find the order and wrote down our number so the day manager could contact us and he walked away. I began speaking with Padtay again and informed him I was concerned that nothing would be done the following day because there would be even more orders to look through. Guess what..... still no call. Padtay was professional, understanding, and kind, but I am extremely disappointed in how rude and unprofessional the manager was. If you hate doing tasks which are expected of a manager then maybe you...
Read moreI'm a Flamethrower Burger addict, and used to think even a sub par one was better then anything from McDonald's. The first time I ordered one at this location I don't know what I ended up with, so I can't really judge it. Decided a few weeks later to give them one more chance... They gave me the right burger, and I preface this with the fact that I love spicy food, but I learned it is possible to make me unable to eat a Flamethrower for fear it will burn thru my stomach. It was almost a soup it was so drenched in sauce. I guess when I told them that last time I got a plain cheeseburger that had some weird tasting sauce they decided to make up for it with a gallon of the right stuff. And the fries were cold..... It's possible that my complaint came out sounding overly rude even though I made an effort at easy going, and the person on prep had to protect the honour of the Queen. I might have had poor timing. Won't ever know if that's the case because 2 in a row is the cut off for me. Won't go back. 2 stars instead of one because they were quick to serve me the meals...
Read moreSpent $45 on DQ tonight (including box of Dilly Bars). 3 orders of chicken fingers very cold and made like 2-3 hours ago as a few were curling in the shape of the container! They forgot my Cherry Sundae even though they were asked twice? Used 3 coupons(2 dine $12.99, buy one parfait get one & buy one dilly get one). They couldn't ring it in one transaction needed to do 3 different ones? Very poor service, customer service, product quality and time frame were all very poor. Sorry it's usually very good but this time I wonder why support local when we pass like 3 others ones driving home from Regina and we never had any issues with them as well. Very sad and no apology either that's what bothered me the worst plus...
