On Mother's Day, I had my first experience tasting the desserts. It was a delightful combination of palabok, a roll of embutido, and a box of kakanins. I brought this assortment for a picnic with my family and friends, and everyone absolutely loved it. The palabok was incredibly moist and had an exceptional flavor. It was unanimously agreed upon by my friends that it was the best palabok we had ever tasted, and there were no leftovers. The embutido was so delicious that I couldn't resist finishing it all by myself before it even made it to the picnic table. Despite my husband's diagnosis of Celiac disease, he was able to enjoy most of the gluten-free desserts, which were equally delectable and made me nostalgic for my hometown. The biko that I ordered for the long weekend was a hit among my family and relatives, and we relished every bite. Personally, I always enjoy eating the crispy edges of the biko. I am definitely planning to order again and make these desserts a regular part of any gathering. I must also commend Leizell for her pleasant and accommodating personality. Recommended by a friend: I ordered Palabok, kakanin Platter and special Biko last weekend, and it was great! Kakanin is life for Ilocanos like me! We love everything in it..texture..taste..price..quality and quantity..no complaints! Guests loved'em too! Highly recommended!! The lovely owner is willing to let you try her products, the once that i did not order. And wow!! My kids loved the cassava cake, atleast i know what to order next. I would like to thank Ate Leizl for the pansit palabok and kakanin platter which I ordered today as walk-in. Waiting time is just reasonable for a short notice order. I was craving for her palabok since she started selling it and it’s my first time to taste it. I must say it is good, as in MASARAP! The kakanin platter was second to none as always.
