Argyll Park — Attraction in Edmonton

It's lovely! There are soccer games, baseball games, events and kids playing most evenings- the organized sports rent the fields, which are well maintained! However after 4 times at this park with all fields/diamonds booked, the washrooms weren't open. There was a poorly maintained porterpotty- There are infrequent garbage bins as well so prepare to gather and recycle on your own. Great park in a beautiful area! I and my dog enjoyed a nice walk along the Mill Creek ravine trail. Great off leash area and nice shaded trails made for a very enjoyable walk for me and water time for my dog. There seemed to be adequate garbage bins along the trail. It would have been nice to have trail map boards at some of the Vs in the trail to get a better sense of where each trail went and how to plan a loop walk. The Argyll Park is equipped with a variety of facilities. Baseball diamonds and soccer fields are popular. The park plays host to both the Edmonton BMX race track and the Velodrome. The Millcreek ravine includes walking and bike paths as well as an off-leash area for dogs. There is a playground for kids as well as a community hall. At peak times, parking can be scarce.
