I seldomly review unless it is a remarkable experience either good or bad. I was in the area, looking very forward to grabbing a sandwich from my favorite sandwich shop in the city just adjacent in the next parking lot. As I arrive there it was closed due to a catering event. I'd driven from mill woods and was on a time crunch so didn't have much time to go look for anything else. The thing is, i'm not too familiar with the area and its mostly industrial and I hate having to try a new place I've never been before without doing research and reading up on it. As l was leaving, Urban Bite caught my eye, it said donairs and burgers. I decided to park and checked out the menu, their burgers did sound good with no fillers, preservatives or hormones added. The urban burger sounded just like what I was feeling like eating. I ordered it up with some onion rings and let me tell you, I was thoroughly impressed. A big, fresh tasty juicy patty should've been more messy considering it had mushroom sauce, bacon, swiss, sautéed onions and mushrooms but upon them serving it to me, they managed to keep it all intact nicely, which is tough to do. When I asked what a certain sauce was, they indicated it was mustard and they wouldn't recommend me putting on my burger with these toppings. But they recommended I try the homemade ketchup with hot sauce on my onion rings and it was absolutely divine I must say! Even though I was disappointed I didn't get what I originally set out to get that day, I was happy i got to check this place out and they more than made up for my dissapointment with their food and top notch quality service, extremely friendly and appreciative. Today we ordered a large order for 10 people from my work. We called it in and were told they would have it ready in 20 minutes. When we arrived we told them our name and that we were here for a large pickup. They told us it was not ready yet. After waiting about 15 minutes they came to us with 1 bag of food, we were telling them that this looked incorrect as they had just sent a customer out with 3 large bags and told them we thought they made a mistake and had given the other customer our food. This is exactly what they had done. The lady cooking in the kitchen then proceeded to yell at us that we should have told them (again we had given them our name and let them know it was a very large order), I tired to explain to them that we did let them know who we were. She proceeded to yell at us from the kitchen while slamming things around and asking us if we wanted to order again. We explained we had 10 people at work waiting for food. At no point during this we we apologized to. They wanted to take orders from other waiting customer before even trying to fix our problem. The woman from the kitchen was so rude, threw all of the food together with not a care at all, while repeatedly blaming us for their mistake. The took food from the bags that was suppose to go to the other customer that had been sitting there to complete our order. We winded up being there for over an hour. They gave us no discount, stuffed the food into 2 bags and sent us on out way all while treating us as if we were inconvenient for their mistake. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!! Food...

I tried out Rudy's for the donair. I ordered the fried mushrooms as a treat. Donair was solid, well sized, good portions of meat vs veggies. Deep fried mushrooms are a little expensive, but what are you gonna do? Someintes you just treat yourself. Both employees were very polite and didn't make me repeat my no donair sauce request, a sign of respect in my books. Food was prepped fast and I was given a candy as an after meal complete. The restaurant is the type of clean that you expect of a new restaurant although the seating does show signs of age. It is clear that the staff keep the place spotless. I will happily go back and try other items on the menu. As to the donair... above average. The meat was clearly shaved as opposed to just sliced. I like donairs without sauce, so a quality donair doesnt have a pool of grease at the bottom by the time you get to the late bite. My pita was dry to the last bite, a sign of the right balance of ingredients and that the meat wasn't overcooked. Also the tomatoes need to be freah to keep their juices in check. ...
