Went though the drive thru and ordered an iced coffee and hat coffee, they hardly put ice in the iced coffee so I asked for more ice please very nicely and she (Mani) said I will have to charge you 5 cents because she wanted to charge for the cup, I said calmly all I want is more Ice because you didn’t do the drink correctly. She said I still have to charge you, I again said to her that I come here everyday x3 sometimes as I live across the street and I have never been charged for an extra cup , she basically called Me a liar, as she said I don’t believe you , that’s when I got upset and asked for a manager and she said she was the supervisor and that’s when I asked one more time just for Ice to top up my warm Iced coffee again she refused, it’s not about the 5 cents but about customer service so I asked her for a refund then, immediately she granted me a refund, I was in shocked that she gave me a full refund and threw the drinks in the garbage over 5 cents, she threw away over $5 just so she can be right, if I had an employee like that losing my business money over petty stuff she would not be my employee no longer, what kind of supervisor/manager would throw away and order over a little Ice!! Like many people here I would rather drive 10 minutes to another Timmy’s than deal with this person again, I emailed and complained and nobody ever reached out to me for more details, I waited over a week and haven’t been back there since, and btw all the other staff was amazing every time I went, it’s convenient as it’s across the street but I would rather be appreciated when I spend money at...
Read moreNormally this would be 5 stars for service but a mishap happened today which I felt could have been avoided. When going through the drive thru, I'm not sure why hot drinks don't automatically have a sleeve because if the drink is so hot that the employee has to grip it awkwardly when handing it over, you're kind of forced to awkwardly grab from the top and in my case, the lid wasn't securely on AT ALL, so as he handed it to me, I ended up with scalding hot tea spilling all over and down my arms, my exposed leg (I was wearing a dress) and all over my car. The employee did apologize (albeit kind of subdued?) and gave me a few napkins... 3 initially which wasn't nearly enough for how much tea was split and dripping everywhere, and when he gave me more it was still... like 3 more? Not enough at all. I'm not thrilled with the stains all over my car, jacket and dress right now and had to head home to get cleaned up. The person at the window today was new(er), or at least someone I hadn't seen before and I do come to this location a few times a week. Anyways, just food for thought to make use of sleeves more to avoid situations like mine? Otherwise, normally the people are lovely. Atmosphere is lower due to it being a Tim's inside a gas station.
edir: I have been back many times since and even encountered the same gentleman who recognized me and apologized again, which I appreciate. I did end up submitting my feedback as suggested but things are back to normal and I did notice staff asking if I needed a tray or a sleeve which I do appreciate. All in all it's a...
Read moreBy far the worst location. By far the worst drive thru!! It is across the street from my house but I will drive out of my way to another location to avoid this place. They don’t care to listen when there’s a problem. They are the most rude, unfriendly, unprofessional group of employees. Constantly getting the order wrong. I always order an ice cappuccino but get it different every time. Sometimes way too strong. I once asked what do they put in it (I’m trying to solve the problem myself, how to modify the order to make it better) but I got nothing but attitude. The more I pressed, the angrier she got the. Finally told me to go look online and closed the window on me. They never speak English. I thank them but never get a reply. Today I thought maybe give them one last try. I ordered an ice cappuccino as always. Of course it was too strong (way darker than any other location makes it) so I handed it back and I ask them to put an extra shot of cream in it. She literally tossed it away and made me a new exactly the same. I told her I didn’t want a new one. I made it very clear, politely asking her to ADD an extra shot of cream. Her response was she can’t after I touched it...... ummm so why take it from me in the first place!! Do yourselves a favour. There’s been too many times to mention on here, the horrible experiences. Read the other reviews and listen. This place...
