Top Donair — Restaurant in Edmonton

I stopped in here on a Saturday night about 30 mins before they closed. I placed a Uber Eats order since I seen they have BOGO. I placed my order online while I was driving there as I live really close. They had my order done within 2 mins of me walking into the door. Way too fast to have food done that quick so I'm guessing food was sitting around already. I always buy from Turquaz Kebab, Swiss, Jerasulem Schwarma, Eddies Donair. The salad was basic chopped salad with ranch dressing, not Medditerean like everyone else. The rice was white rice, bland, no seasoning at all and dry as heck. The garlic sauce they provide was probably the only good thing about the meal. The donair meat is sub par just basic donair meat. Nothing to rave about. They are brave for opening up beside Swiss but food does not match. Can say I at least tried them once but I wont be returning. I've tried Top Donair when the first opened years ago with a different owner and the food was decent then, not sure if new owners but food has gone downhill. My wife and I accidentally discovered Top Donair & Pizza, and today was the second time we visited. The owner and staff were super nice and humble, making us feel right at home. The donairs are packed with tender, perfectly seasoned meat and topped with fresh ingredients, all wrapped in a soft pita with the most amazing garlic sauce. For a tip, when you order a donair or shawarma, get it with french fries, sauce, and meat, and ask the super nice gentleman to lightly toast it – not too much – and you will thank me later. I ordered a beef donair through Uber eats and I canceled my first order and then placed the same order again on Uber eats. I actually forgot to apply for the discount coupon so the delay was just 2 minutes for me to reorder the same order which I placed in the beginning.

Now this restaurant charged me for my first order which I canceled , as they claim that they have already started preparing this order but you should understand after 2 minutes of cancellation of my first order ,I re-ordered the same food with no changes in the preparation and they have delivered me the same order which I canceled in the beginning and they charged me twice this is total ripoff off by this restaurant from the customer. it's my hard earned money which they took.

This is totally unacceptable and unethical practice from the restaurant for charging for order which was placed and canceled and reorder again in less than 2 minutes without any changes...
