The most critical problem was the consistently poor quality and freshness of the food across multiple items. Not only were toppings like (mention specific toppings, e.g., lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) visibly stale – appearing that old product was being layered with new instead of being properly changed out, a concern also noted in other reviews – but the treats and bread were also noticeably stale. This widespread lack of freshness, from key ingredients to the fundamental bread and supplemental items, is a serious concern regarding food safety and overall quality control and gives the strong impression that expired or improperly stored items are frequently being served. Furthermore, the customer service I received during this visit was poor; instead of patiently listening to my requests, the staff seemed to rush through the order, disregarding my instructions and making the sandwich incorrectly. This inattentiveness resulted in an incorrectly made sandwich in addition to the stale ingredients. Adding to the negative experience, I observed the manager being notably rude to a new worker, even physically pushing them aside to serve me, which suggests a poor training environment and lack of support for new staff. This experience was very negative, and the lack of fresh ingredients across the menu combined with the apparent operational deficiencies, poor customer listening skills and order accuracy, and the observed managerial conduct is particularly troubling. They refused to give my money back even though the quality was awful. They said I ordered it and there not giving me my money back. The only thing they would do was put everything on a Italian bun, but wouldn't give me money back for the gluten-free bun. Horrible service and food. They also don't follow food guidelines about cross contamination. After I told her I didn't want the extra cheese she had added to my sandwich without asking.She ripped it off and tossed it into the Chicken. I pointed this out to her, she said that nobody cares. I informed her that I did because I was a vegetarian. She didn't do anything about it and was very insensitive to my dietary restrictions.
