I rarely leave comments but having been raised in the industry, owning restaurants over the years and going to McDonald’s before you were even in Canada yet, and finally purchasing food from your establishment about a dozen times a month, I thought you might want to know why service is 1 star today Aug 1st, 10 am about your self absorbed genZer at the 1st window in drive thru. I simply ordered a no2 with a milk…. She asked the drink and I repeated milk followed by moo moo like a cow white please trying to help… heard nothing then said I would also like a second sandwich. She was very rude in response and when I got up to the window her attitude can be described with words that start with the first 3 letters of the alphabet and I never say that about someone. I explained I was trying to help but she was totally rude and slammed the window in my face. Having owned restaurants myself which is where the younger generation learns people and communication skills, had she been an employee of mine treating a customer the way she treated me, I would have fired her on the spot and blackballed her around town. Read moreNot going to give any rank as I am totally unhappy with my latest experience. I had to suffer 10 min in the drive thru and went thru 3 people just to get my order in. It was for my 85 yr old mother in the hospital. The apple pie I received after was burnt to a crisp. My toothless mother couldn't attempt to eat it as it was rock hard. The bag looked used, the bill was crumpled up in the bag, I was NEVER asked what kind of sauce I wanted for the nuggets either. after finishing my visit in the hospital I returned to the restaurant asking for a manager to tell my story to. She was less than helpful, did not consider what I said, made no attempt to try to reconcile the problem, proving she didn't care. I left and will NEVER return. I don't need to pay to be treated like that. I hope she gets fired for her lackluster service, if she even was a manager as I saw no name tag or identifying tags. Thanks for helping me make healthier choices by not darkening you doorway ever again...
Read moreI never expect perfection from anywhere but this one particular location takes the cake. I can't count the number of times I've gone through drive-thru to find out the grills and fryers are off and cannot get burgers or anything. Only drinks, yet the sign says 24 hours. Why be open if you can't serve food??
And today I stood in line for at least 5 minutes. Never even got acknowledged. And it wasn't even busy. I walked out empty handed
So no food in a 24 hour drive-thru and can't even get my order taken when I come inside. After half a dozen times of this happening that's it. And the Walmart location closed. Congrats Estevan McDonald's you...
