Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Fernie

When we walked in I asked before ordering if we can get fresh food cooked for us. They responded with yes of course. So I ordered. After our food arrived, I instantly grabbed my burger cause I was starving and took a big bite. Disappointed much because it was a precook burger from hours before. So I took my two burgers back to the front and simply asked for fresh burgers like I asked for the first time. Now being an old manager of a DQ for 6+ years, I know what a fresh burger looks and tastes like. So I went back to my table and waited patiently. While I was there I asked my gf and son how there burgers were, they said they were not fresh eother but they didn't want to chance their food being returned. Shortly after the manager came out and delivered my two freshly made double cheese burgers....but they weren't fresh at all. They werw precook again and this time microwaved so bad that the bun burned my mouth when I took a bite. Now to set me off, the manager walked over by the window and watched me take my first few bites, hoping I wasn't going to notice this complete disrespect he just gave me, thinking that I thought these burgers were fresh. I travel through Fernie a few times per month and usually stop here for a meal. I will NEVER stop here again because of the disrespect and lies. If a person wants fresh food and is willing to wait for it, GIVE THEM FRESH FOOD!!! AFTER ALL IT DOES TASTE...

I’ve had a couple of disappointing experiences at this Dairy Queen location recently. On my latest visit, I had a coupon I intended to use for a Blizzard. I accidentally paid before remembering to show it, and immediately asked if they could redo the transaction to apply the coupon (which was expiring soon).

Even though the request was made right after paying, the staff told me it was not possible to redo the transaction. I understand there are policies, but not offering any flexibility or the option for a refund in a situation like this feels really unreasonable. I left...

Came with my kid ordered the kid meal I guess that worked well I ordered a mushroom Swiss and was loud and clear I even repeated it back . The girl working the window on Thursday did not seem Enthusiastic or happy to be there and I guess never heard my order . By the time I drove across town got my kids meal out I opened mine and it was a flame thrower burger yuck! I hateeeee spicy food , so I went to bed with no supper and food and money in the garbage .
