Wendy's — Restaurant in Fort Erie

Just ordered breakfast for the first time at this location. The lady at the drive threw taking our order was very ignorant. I asked for a medium steeped tea and was told we don’t have steeped tea just a tea bag and then she proceeded to say this is not Tim Hortons it’s Wendy’s. When we got to the window I advised her that I was aware it wasn’t Tim Hortons and that it was our first time getting breakfast and that I only asked. She then said over and over again that she was very sorry in a stern voice. Then she said that she says that to customers all the time. I advised her that she should use something different as it came off as offensive and she then said over and over again she was sorry. Then when she was putting the cash in the till she was talking under her breath. She clearly wasn’t sorry and we obviously annoyed her. We won’t be going to Wendy’s again for breakfast. I’ve been to many Wendy’s and this is by far the best one I’ve been to. I visited this location for dine in lunch. The drive thru was quite busy as this location is close to the highway and American border. The dine in was half full. Place was kept clean and organized. My food was very fresh and made to order. When I ordered baked potato they said it wasn’t ready yet and would take about 5mins to finish and offered me alternative sides so I wouldn’t have to wait. I insisted on the baked potato and they told me to sit and eat first and they’d deliver the potato straight to my table. Freshly baked potato was amazing! Service was superb. Just drove to Wendy’s to get my whole family Wendy’s for Dinner as a treat. I Ordered four son of a baconater combos for my wife and kids two plain burgers for my dogs. And a son of a baconater burger for myself. Only to get home and find that they never put my burger in the bag. So now my wife, my kids and even my dogs are at home eating their food and I’m sitting here in the Wendy’s parking lot writing this review and eating my burger alone that I had to drive twice across town to get. The sad thing is they are so swamped and busy in there that all I got was a sorry about that sir and here’s the burger that I was missing.
