Yeah this place was a huge bummer. Me and my boyfriend arrive at 7:05 and we get seated pretty quickly yet we patiently waited 10 minutes just to order our beverages and it took another 10 minutes to be served them. Drinks were great, I had some melon cocktail and it was great while he stuck with a classic draft. So we are seated inside and our view was two people literally right infront of us and we are surrounded completely with people. The place is cluttered and the table placements are very questionable.. also little note it’s a very noisey inside and there was no music, sitting outside would be the best option. Very compact and close inside. Now the food was just an extreme let down, not only were we pushing an hour just sitting but the food was like it was someone’s first day in the kitchen. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was burnt, barely had any marinara sauce on the breasts and the noodles were horrific they were all clumped together and cold and still hard like. It was awful. I couldn’t eat it and for $26 ?? Crazy I told my waitress who was super polite about it and she took it off my bill. But we also had the cannon barrels and for $18 you get 5 cold centred pizza pocket like things but with chicken in it also was drenched in grease. My partner order the classic cannons burger and he said it was very ordinary and basic but nothing bad to say about it just not what you would crave. Overall I think giving the 2 stars was even generous. Not sure what the hype is about the place but seems to be usually packed…maybe after slamming down another couple drinks it would be...
Read moreA group of five girls went to cannons. Three of us 19. Two 18. We came in and the waitresses were sighing and unenthusiastic so I asked if they were closing soon. No. We sat at the big booth by the window. A waitress tells us we need to move because those booths “aren’t for 5 people” so we moved. The waitress in our section slammed the menus down and told us to get out our IDs. I told her a couple of us are 18. She picked the menus up and nastily said “you can’t eat here”. And stormed off. I said “we just want to eat” to which she replied while walking away “liquor license, darling”. The issue here is not the liquor licence. She could have politely explained and given us other options, like MOCO downtown did. It’s that she, and everyone else, were extremely rude to us. Even before knowing a couple of us were 18. I felt stupid as I had told my friends that I love cannons and that the waitresses are so kind. I was shocked. Not returning and will be sharing...
Read moreThe pub’s proximity to our motel made it a convenient choice for dining. It was our first visit, and our group of four ordered three appetizers - mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and chicken wings - all of which were delectable. Our main meals, including the steak salad, steak dinner, pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken Parmesan, were equally enjoyable. Personally, I found the steak salad particularly delightful. The mozzarella sticks were thick and satisfying, while the chicken wings were a highlight, especially since they were 50% off on Wednesdays. The service was exceptional, and we appreciated the thoughtful and friendly server. The only drawback was that we weren’t informed about a large group seated next to us, which caused interruptions due to their noisy behavior. Despite that, we were overall satisfied with the substantial portions of food presented...
