Greco Pizza — Restaurant in Fredericton

This is what “extra cheese” looks like at this location, every time I get a garlic finger. They don’t properly cover the pie, there are huge spots missing cheese and it’s often burnt on the edges to this degree.

Contrastingly, this is the normal amount (not the “extra” amount) of cheese that Northside and Woodstock locations give, and they don’t burn the crust.

They also give a lot less donair sauce than other locations. Many locations use the “tubs” you see in the adds, which seem to be almost twice the size (and the same price) as what this location charges; this location uses the same size they did 20 years ago, when they seemed to take more care in their product.

I wouldn’t usually write a review, but the last 8 pies I have gotten are burnt and scantly covered with cheese. It’s bot because they are busy those days, because I don’t order at peak times. If I say anything POLITELY (I worked service, I get it), the guy at the counter (supervisor?) always has a hard time hiding his irritation that I said anything, even if I express slight disapproval, and still pay for and take the pie, 9 times out of 10.

I don’t blame the employees as it is the local owner that makes these choices.

This one was remade, but I’m so SO tired of this, but North Side will not deliver to South Side.

Every time I go there I spend a large amount on a few toppings pizza that is not the best. Need to lower your price around 5 (the cooks there don’t know how to cook ) but at least they are friendly (the cooks) every time I ordered a pizza before I get a garlic sauce free and I didn’t ! Pays a good amount for xtra cheese every time and don’t get it ! No sauce barley and toppings is limited! Paid 30$ for a pizza. It should be eatable. Last time I went there asked for a sandwich and could I get mayo she’s like what you think this place is subway. Go to subway and get a sandwich! Like !!! OMG. Anyways the staff is so rude and disrespectful it’s unreal. I went there multiple times and she treated me like trash. If you don’t like your job old lady give to someone else. I have been ordering delivery and only had one dine-in. Besides the pizza, the donairs are very tasty!

My usual order is the online special of 2 half-pound donairs and 1 9-inch garlic fingers with donair sauce dip. So the donair sauce might not be the healthiest item but it is creamy and delicious. For the actual donair, there is meat and vegetables smothered in donair sauce and wrapped in a pita. At the very least, It is not deep fried food.

The garlic fingers are simple, yet tasty. It is not overly salty and the crust has that right amount of crunch. Needless to say, It goes well with the donair sauce (which I much prefer over marinara sauce).

As for the pizza, I usually get the party pizza when there is a promotion. It is a great deal that lasts several meals for a couple of people. My favourite pizza crust flavours are asiago, pretzel, and garlic pesto. The toppings I enjoy getting are dry-cured pepperoni, salami, and hot peppers (not all at the same time).

Sometimes, I order half garlic fingers and half pizza for the party pizza. Of course, there is donair sauce included for the garlic fingers.

It is not a bad place for a casual dining and decently priced for the nearby students. I prefer this menu over similar places such as Domino's or...
