Pine Tree Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fredericton

Love going to the bingo, and ordering from the pub, the spinach dip is to die for(its my favorite don't even care if i win at bingo as long as I can have the spinach dip..haha).....having said that we were there last night ordered the spinach dip after 2 of us ordering it a guy came out of the restaurant and said we couldn't get it, they didn't have any....so we were refunded and then we decided to order something different ....they come with our food and then a couple minuets later come out with our spinach dips???????? so we said we thought you were out we were told we couldn't order it, we would have much rather had the dip...she says ok I'm gonna go talk to Beth(the lady that took our order) we hear them discussing our mishap and another lady that was serving alcohol in the bingo hall yells over just put one away and ill take it home, Well that didn't sit well with either of us, because this is what we wanted then Beth said to return the other ones to the kitchen someone else could eat it....the server lady that brought us the food came back and said she didn't know what the were going to do about this and that they were getting the supervisor. ok good, we said. NO one came to our table to apologise or anything this is really, really bad service and we could hear everything that was being said as if we weren't even there. so last night we decided this would be our last visit to the...

called in order at 610pm told to pick up 20 mins. arrive at 632 paid bill at 636. Told a few mins to wait, sat at the end of bar and proceeded to wait an additional 35 mins, finally got order at 710. Told sorry by server, after been told 3 times in the 35 mins it was going to be a few more mins. I understand being busy, totally just tell me on phone the wait and allow me to choose to wait or not. After the drive home ready to enjoy my food cause it is pine tree and usually it is the best.... but guess what they forget part of my order.... then when I called and asked to talk to manager got a supervisor who took my name and said I can have my order next time.... really didn't understand if it was the missing order or all order and not once did Supervisor apologize. so I resign myself to try and eat my fish and chips and the wife with no fries for her club house... and surprise surprise I see not the usually plentiful amount of chips but I would say about 1/2 of the normal amount... and then begrudgingly start eating MY UNDERCOOKED fries. Some still mostly raw, so very disappointed in Pine Tree.... very subpar and disappointed. busy for sure understand Bingo is the money maker I guess. Hopefully it improves or this was a really off night but will be a very long time if ever will...

All food was cooked from frozen. Nothing is homemade and you can taste it.

Plates we had: spinach dip. Overcooked, cheese was dark brown on top. Decent flavour loaded potatoe skins. Grainy, dry, flavourless fish and chips. Fish was well battered and good. Fries had good texture but were not seasoned at all burger. Sauce was good. Patties were overcooked and not seasoned at all pie and ice cream. Not homemade and no ice cream despite the title all the dips or sauces come in individual plastic servings

Service: it took us 15 minutes to get water. We were offered lemons, they were forgotten. The waitress then noticed, said she'd grab some and didn't. Appetizers took 20 minutes to arrive then entrees only 5 minutes later. Pacing was poor and led to food stacking at the table in a half full restaurant. We had to ask for additional mayo for the fries three times. We had to place our dessert order twice.

To say this place is disappointing is an understatement. Bottom of my list for eats in...
