Chez Lou Patate — Restaurant in Gatineau

Unfortunately I can not say I have tested this place properly! I have oredered 2 times via delivery and something is wrong with the managment of orders delivered ! The first time i ordered delivery, my order was a short and simple order and it came wrong and something was missing that we paid for at the door! So I passed that and tried them again today with a new order ! 1:20 hrs minutes later the lunch arrived ! But this time, me and my husband decided that it was enough! We were very patient but as I did work for 15 yrs in restaurant I have seen poeple screami g for way less!!! So Unfortunately I can not review the food but the timeframe for delivery I can! Maybe it is time to have a little extra employee to insure have more and more customers! I feel bad that I had to go eat elsewhere to make a point to the boss of the company! But if I had only complain no impact was going to be said to the boss, but by actually standing for our right and leaving our house to go eat elsewhere was a better way to get the attention on that specif problem ! Even if we are patient, does not mean we have to always endure these type of situation! Now I made my point I wilk test them again cuz I am not a quitter, but I will give them 1 year to get better organized and prepared and try them again but only year later! Goodluck...

Used to be my favorite poutine in Gatineau. 2 years ago, bought a poutine , got home , opened it and it was like a soup. Thats how much sauce was in there. Because it was my favorite , I had to give them another chance so a week later I went back to buy another. Got in , say hi to the cashier by name since I know them and ask truly politely : Would it be possible to have less sauce in my poutine today since last time was a soup (laughing) ? just like the other guy said - when you order a steak poutine you get chopped up hamburger meat, which actually makes the poutine taste worse than if you got a plain poutine! I tried adding some salt to make it taste better, but that really don’t do anything, so overall I was very disappointed and I don’t think I would visit this place again.

Also, really not enough cheese curds on it.

The guy taking our orders was very nice and friendly, but the kitchen and the food they produce was not...
