La Fromentine — Restaurant in Gatineau

Went to the location on maloney, ordered 2 filet mignon meals ahead for pick up, the woman working said 25 min for it to be ready, only to start cooking once I arrived 20 min later, and let me tell you! I was happy she didn't, because I ended up walking out after waiting for 10 minutes watching her prepare our meals. The woman was using the same tongs to move around raw chicken and then placed the tongs on top of already cooked filet mignon that was off to the side on a counter. I made sure to ask if that was the filet mignon she was going to give me, she told me "no it's not" she THEN brought the contaminated already cooked filet mignon to the back and placed them into a metal container that she later brought to the front and placed in the food counter with all the filet mignon that was to be served to the public. NO THANK YOU!! Not worth 48$ just to get salmonella. Went to palaise libanais...

This place is an Amazing resteraunt that serves delicious African food! The food is fresh and and very tasty! This is one of the only few resteraunts in the entire Gatineau area that I would ever recommend.

I went there today, I ate goat meat, jollof rice and plantain. It was really good ! I believe they really improved since they opened, they listened to the critics and obviously made some changes. The food is really good as well as the service: it was faster and they were welcoming. Will be going...
