Great little place for deli-style sandwiches. They have a wide variety of fillings and breads. The ingredients are super fresh and delicious. And the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable too. Certainly beats any Subway by far in terms of quality, taste, and price. Although the place feels tight (understanding that it is a small local marketplace / corner store) and it was pretty busy the moment I went (Friday at lunch), but the service was quick and efficient.

Absolutely incredible sandwiches! The small deli at the front delivers big on flavor! Reasonably priced, good portions, with fresh ingredients made on the spot. The bread they use is delicious and perfect for deli sandwiches. Lettuce/vegetable are fresh and seasoned, leading to and excellent compliment for the meats. The owner is very friendly and accommodating - if I lived in the area I would definitely eat here at least twice a week! Highly recommend!

I recently visited La Petite Épicerie in Gatineau, QC, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary dining experience! This charming little sandwich shop exceeded all my expectations.

I ordered a sandwich (#3) and a soup, and they were truly out of this world! The sandwich was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, bursting with flavor in every bite. The bread was perfectly toasted and had an amazing texture, while the fillings were generous and skillfully balanced.

The lentil soup was equally impressive—rich and hearty, it was the perfect companion to my sandwich. Each spoonful was comforting and flavorful, clearly made from scratch with love.

The atmosphere of La Petite Épicerie is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal or grab something to go. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

There is no space at all. I tripped over all their stock. Waiting in line is so confusing people cut you off, or they take someone else that came after you. There is no pricing whatsoever they rip you off, because at the cash they dont enter your items they just say any price. It's so dirty it looks like they never have touched a broom in their lives. SO BASICALLY ITS SUCKS. just go to the second cup in the museum, or the cafe in the museum its right across the street. VERY RUDE. so I was counting my money and they just kept calling random people, while I was counting she didn't even count my money if I gave enough or I gave too much. she took it and...

I was so amazed at the food in this place! There are a few dozen sandwich choices, a daily soup, and a convenience stores worth of drinks but the BREAD! It's on my list of stops for the area now. $8 for a fat sandwich. I ordered 8 lunches when I was there and they were made fresh in a few minutes.

The jalapeno and cheese bread was stunning. Not spicy but flavourful.

Overall, amazing sandwich place. A bit crammed to eat with 10+ people but clean and outstanding food....
