Pizza Jose — Restaurant in Gatineau

I am dumbfounded that I never knew of this place before a friend recommended it. We ordered the José special (putting bacon and olives on an all-dressed is simple and genius) and the bacon and pepperoni for 4 adults and two kids. The pizzas were hot, the delivery was right on time, calling in was a breeze, wonderful customer service.

The pizzas were laden with toppings, the crust was thick but not dense, the pizza sauce was the perfect amount, not seeping through, not tangy nor over-spiced. The dough absorbed the sauce without saturating the base.

We have two slices left of each and I am looking forward to eating the rest tomorrow.

I am done searching for a pizza place, this is it. I haven’t had a pizza this good since moving here years ago. The place is so unassuming, no online ordering, free delivery and prices that are competitive with the advantage of good quality ingredients. No need to be flash, their food is far superior than...

I see why this place is busy and still has good reviews. My first time ordering and picking up pizza here and it was a wonderful experience even if my pizza was late 😊 The guys in front apologized and got my order ready in a few minutes after I got there. Most times places that have good food take customer service for granted, because they know they are good. But bad reviews most times send those places packing... at Pizza Jose, the pizza was good, even if late, but the customer service was on point that I had to give them 5 ⭐️

Anyway, the pizza I ordered, pepperoni for the kids and Pizza Jose special for the rest of my fam, was so delicious 😋 Will go again for sure!! Just make sure you give yourself enough time for your pizza...

First time ordering a pizza from here. Jose was recommended to me by several friends and I can see why. I called to order. When answering the owner JP said had just closed up. Se said no problem he said he would fire back up the oven and make my pizza. I came down got the pizza. Had a great chat with this gentlemen. He's s great guy old school type service that we don't see often. Now back to the pizza. I ordered the deluxe pizza and it was amazing. Thick and lots of toppings.
