Roulas — Restaurant in Gatineau

I've eaten at the location on St. Joseph with no issues, food is always fresh and well prepared. The one on Cannes however is a whole different story! I ordered their sandwich special, the woman who took my order has terrible customer service. I understand that lunch is a busy time but she rushed through my order and sent me the wrong thing. I wanted a salad switch my sandwich and got nasty greasy potatoes that were literally swimming in oil. When I called back she cut me off mid sentence and was like I'll send you another...the fact that she wouldn't even take the time to hear out her customers needs or issues is just terrible customer service. I will not be ordering from this location again. Maybe not everyone gets the same service or treatment, so some will disagree but I definitely do not recommend this...

My spouse and I have eaten in and ordered delivery from this restaurant. We live in an area where there isn’t many delivery options so decided to order delivery. I ordered Greek and my spouse a pizza. The rice was sweet tasting and “off”, the hummus was covered in way too much oil/grease, the portion was kind of small compared to when I ordered it and ate-in the restaurant. The pizza my spouse ordered was large and was the BBQ special. Our neighbour came over and had a slice, my spouse ate a few slices and I ate one slice the fallowing day and we all chatted a day later saying we all had bathroom issues after having the pizza. The pizza tasted good however the crust was white and a bit dowey, perhaps undercooked and why, we all had issues after. Don’t think we’ll order from there again and, it was...

OMG. My experience with dinning out or ordering out at a restaurant usually involves (sadly) a lack of comp points. Either be on the social interaction or on the food quality and/or quantity. Well my friends....let me tell you this place had everything going for itself.... AMAZING food, AWESOME and fast service, the food couldn't taste better!!!!

I visited at a slower time of day which gave the owner the chance to mind her personal business but CHOOSED instead to share her AMAZING recipes.... provide me with free food to try for the first time and to invite me to come back to see how she does one of her recipe! How GREAT and WONDERFUL is that! I was there with my son, today. Will definitely come back just to get that EXCELLENT experience...
