I’ve been here 2 times already. The first time was to only try their way of cooking and I didn’t like it at all. I ordered a plate for 1 where there are chicken balls, fried rice, spare ribs and an eggroll on it. It was cold and the fried rice was dry. The second time I went was to give them a chance to give me something I’d make a good review of. I ordered a 9pcs chicken wings with the sauce that tastes like the sauce for spare ribs, it was good when it was hot but then when I ordered fries which was actually a take out for my brothers, this old lady that serves there told me “You’re not gonna eat all these aren’t you?” That was really insulting. I told her it was for my brothers which it really was. I had my fries while I was eating which turned cold by then, and I didn’t finish my food because she just really insulted me and take home the rest of my chicken wings instead. Very bad experience. I know a lot of people likes this place, but you certainly don’t know what’s a good chinese place to eat. I know not this one. Totally do not recommend when you want to go out and crave...
Read moreA little hit or miss. I do really like this place and their food is good. It’s not fantastic but come on you’re in Hull not Somerset St. Their General Tao’s the only dish I had recently that wasn’t that great. But their soaps, egg rolls and noodle dishes are pretty good. Very friendly staff. They don’t take credit. Soft drinks were included in the order...even though I didn’t order them (that was unnecessary)...they give you free fried rice on large orders...and enough soy sauce packets to fill your pantry bottle. Definitely quantity over quality but the quality is pretty solid, not much to...
Read moreWhere do I start? Probably the worst, most whitewashed excuse for awful Chinese food in town. Everything way too salty, overcooked. The sezchuan beef is atrocious, so much salt and oil. When I asked for chopsticks they scoffed at me and stated they don't ever have chopsticks. It's like if a white person(who was already bad at cooking) made "asian" TV dinners with no knowledge of that cuisine.
The egg rolls were OK.. if they weren't fried to hell with a limp consistency that looks like it was under a heat...
