Loved it....! My work de and I were traveling through the area today and came upon the Maroon Pig. We were first attracted to the outside, shaded, seating because we were traveling with our dog. The hand painted sign said “Daily Special - Lasagne with Ceasar Salad for $8.00. We went in to find that the daily special is the only meal of the day. We both thought that was a hoot and we just had to eat here. We were very glad that we did.
The food was great, the owner/cook/baker was a very nice and friendly person who treated us well. And, the best part..., the baked goods that we had for dessert were extraordinary.

   Read moreWhat a crazy name for a wonderful place! Several locals told us that we had to visit this place while in the area. We did, and we are glad. The bake goods here are delightful. You will not be disappointed. While we were there, there was a steady stream of customers coming through the door.
While you are perhaps waiting in line you will get a chance to see a lot of artwork for sale from various artists in the area.
