This restaurant is such a pleasant surprise! The portions here are huge - you definitely get your money’s worth. The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the drinks, which is rare these days. Even the lemons they give for free come in big slices - a small detail, but it really shows their generosity.
Every dish we tried was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I ordered the NY steak and half rack of ribs combo, and for full rack of ribs, it looked like a full rack compared to what you’d get at most Toronto restaurants. Same for the steak which is really huge. Both were tender, juicy, and so satisfying - truly fulfilling. The fries were outstanding - crispy, crunchy, and without any greasy oiliness. My fiancee ordered the Jackson’s seafood pasta and it is also huge portion and is really appetizing.
We arrived just on time for our reservation, and the server was already outside waiting for us - so prepared and welcoming. We sat out on the patio, and our server was fantastic - constantly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, which is rare for patio dining.
To end the meal, we had the pecan pie with ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. The sweetness was perfectly balanced - rich and flavourful without being overly sweet.
If you’re looking for generous portions, fresh food, and excellent service, this place is a must-visit.
This was also the perfect place to celebrate our 4th anniversary, and it made the occasion even more special. We will definitely add this to our restaurants...
Read moreDinner date this evening was spectacular. We’ve been here for breakfast a couple weeks ago (also phenomenal!) and it blew us away. We started with their in-house soup of the day (chicken noodle) which was robust and very flavorful. We also had the croquettes and baked Brie starter dish with in house made caramel apple sauce. The portion was perfect for two people, the flavor combination and cook was perfect. A very unique dish, worth enjoying even if you’re only there for appetizers. For mains; we enjoyed the prime rib special which comes with a delicious reduction, potatoes and an array of vegetables, and the 6oz tenderloin also with potatoes, vegetables and a delectable mushroom sauce. You can see the restaurant takes much pride in their vegetable options and variety, and both meals were cooked to perfection. You can tell the chefs are high class and have an impressive palate. The portions are large, which is great to balance the price points, which fit a bit average among similar restaurants. Desert menu is unique as well, with homemade options. We went home with their best bourbon chocolate cheesecake and it was in fact a star desert in every last bite. The service is impeccable; the staff is kind, engaging, and attentive.
Overall a 10/10 experience and an absolute hidden gem...
Read moreThis is my go to place for lunch in Georgina. I love how the menu has monthly specials. Some menu items are always available but the monthly specials always add an entirely new dimension. This month (August) has some fantastic Thai dishes. The Thai mango and shrimp salad was fresh and phenomenal!! My husband loved his mango chicken dish served in a beautiful sauce that was made fresh in house. These guys can really cook. We have tried so many things, including braised beef ribs, beef stew, burgers with cheese, crispy fries, Caesar salad with lemon pepper shrimp, grilled vegetable salad with goat cheese and Cajun chicken, oysters on the half shell, crab cakes with smoked salmon, fresh daily soups, quesadillas and we keep going back. The specials menu changes regularly and they are delicious and really well priced. I can’t say enough. Do yourself a favour and head in for a lunch. I can’t comment on the dinner menu yet but if it’s anywhere near as good as the lunches that we’ve enjoyed, I’ll let you know. I’m certainly looking forward to giving it a try. On the weekends, there is a brunch menu that I’m looking forward to trying as well. Bottomless mimosas for $20...
