This eatery is a true GEM! What a delightful and low-key spot. In the south end of Keswick in a small plaza with lots of parking. Four of us met here today and ate in. A very clean place. Delicious food! All home-made on site except for a couple of the luscious-looking desserts, and the amazing Central Smith ice-cream. The butter tarts are made on site and they are very good! Plus a couple of other pastries. We all had the chicken souvlaki and the salad. Both delicious. They do a lot of take out and have vegetarian options. This is a family-run business - the son, Ronny, is the owner. His parents help. We met all three of them. What genuine, warm, and thoughtful people. This gem of a restaurant puts corporate dining to shame!!! All fresh food, made to order and to perfection! Flavourful, plentiful, hot and homemade with the way food should be!!! Best meal in a very long time! We ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner it came with a large Greek salad with homemade dressing, super moist and tender chicken on a huge bed of rice, tzatziki and roasted potatoes. We were so full that we ordered the two homemade pecan tarts for later. Breakfast, lunch or dinner - the menu has something for everyone and the prices are fantastic, particularly for the quality and quantity if food served. Service was personal, efficient and top notch. I had seen FB advertise this place for a while. I realized it was right by my house and decided to go in and check it out. They were so polite and welcoming l. They said they make all their food in house and made to order to ensure freshness. I got a little background history about the chef and how passionate he was about how he came to be a chef. Today me and my son got cannolis and they were VERY nostalgic. The best I have ever had. The over all customer service, hospitality and quality of this place is definitely somthing to rave about.
