Wow what a burger! Forget the nearby fast food joints and get a burger here instead. The cost to get a burger, fries and drink here is equal to a fast food combos price but is infinitely better and you get more food at a higher quality.

I originally decided to try this location as I've found it increasingly difficult to find a well made flame grilled burger instead of the greasy flat top fried ones most places seem to do.

As soon as i walked up I was greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly, patient and very helpful with toppings and information on condiments etc.

I ordered the single Angus with cheese, double smoked bacon (more on the bacon later) and a special hot pepper creation by the chef with a side of fries which were very fresh and perfectly fried (forgot to snap a picture).

The burger was delicious! The meat and toppings tasted very fresh while the meat itself was grilled perfectly. As well, the burger sauce was quite flavorful adding many subtle layers of flavor to the burger. And, as a bonus, the big kaiser bun that the burger came on didn't turn to mush after a 20m drive home!!!!

Finally, the double smoked bacon. I don't know where he gets it but man did the bacon have some flavor!!! Very nice and smokey but still soft enough where it comes apart in a bite.

Will definitely be returning here for more burgers and to try...

After about a year since we last ordered food from here we decided to stop for late lunch during our work day and ordered fish a chips as well as a "Large" beef brisket sandwich. When we arriv3s home to eat the fish looked very well done and pretty dark but when we opened it up the meat was still pink and soft and was obviously undercooked. The batter was overcooked, and bitter, the aftertaste seemed like the oil hasn't been changed in a long time. My daughter noticed the fries tasted "fishy" and we kept getting bites that tasted like the bad spots in the potatoes weren't cut out of them before cooking - very earthy/dirty taste(I have worked in kitchens as a cook myself). My sandwich was so light on the brisket I really don't know how this could be a "large", the reason I ordered it, so I wasn't given a tiny amount of meat but I was wrong. A single, thin sandwich all served up with a driest personality you can imagine. Friendly customer service is definitely NOT what you'll get here. It's a shame...it started out being pretty good quality but has deteriorated in looks, service and quality so much that we will never go back again. The food is good, but the one tall gentleman that is usually the one that takes the orders, is so grumpy. I find him intimidating and looks so mad even when asking him for a little container of ketchup as I went to share a family size fries with my boys who are kids and 2 love ketchup were 2 don't. So I asked for some ketchup and he rolled his eyes and put them smallest amount on a container, I kind of smiled and said I'm sorry but I will much more then that and could I have 3 as there are 6 of us sharing, I even offered a quarter to over the cost of the containers. He looked so annoyed with having to get the ketchup for us, then I came back as he hadn't even us our drinks... Which apparently was a real problem that he had to get those too... It has made me think about going back as this type of behavior is every time we go, not a one off bad day... We are always polite and even try to make him a smile, and nope. I get the job can he hot and uncomfortable, but he has made us think twice about going. Because he makes you feel like he doesn't...
