Bitten Moon Pub — Restaurant in Glace Bay

First time in the pub side, we have gone to the bakery for breakfast previously which was absolutely fantastic in itself. We decided to stop in the pub for lunch yesterday, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was very grunge, early 2000s. We were extremely comfortable and the music was great. Our server/ bartender was top notch, recommending drinks to us and checking in constantly all while running the pub by himself. The food… wow. We have lived here a year and have yet to have found our favourite wings. The wings were crispy, sauced perfectly, and meaty. The fries were seasoned and deliciously hot. Been wanting to go here for a while and my first trip did not disappoint! Whether you’re from the immediate area or from further away and looking to the explore the island this summer— the Bitten Moon is a MUST GO destination for you. What a gem!! We’d spent the day on the beach and were looking for a cold beer and a bite to eat and we weren’t disappointed!! It’s a rather nondescript outside- with a small deck and some picnic tables- the inside screams pub- to be sure. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is fantastic!!
