Main Event Beverage Bar — Restaurant in Glace Bay

Worst service I’ve ever received from ANYWHERE. First encounter was horrible (rude and unprofessional)...almost cancelled my order simply because I didn’t want to give them undeserved business. Anyways fast forward an hour and a half...finally received our $70 order. Pizza COLD and toppings messed up..okay let that slide not a big deal. Both panzerottis burnt to a crisp, cracked right open pouring out grease (not edible in the slightest), so we call to ask for new ones. They said yes as long as we send the old ones back (which we agree to obviously..still weird though) BUT then proceed to call us back to imply we were lying, claiming there’s no way they could have been burnt although we have photos. They then say they are out of panzerottis and that we’ll have to come by to get a refund. I wish I was kidding but I’m unfortunately not. ZERO stars from me!!! I had never been served nachos with cold unmelted cheese before visiting here on my way through the area. Having to tip two different servers, as you must buy drinks from one and food from another, is unheard of. One got a tip and one did not. Seems unfair to the servers to split orders like this. It appeared as though they did not love their job as there was eye roiling involved with attempting to remove unfinished plates from my table. I'm sure the locals are limited for places to go and are thankful for what they have but this business should be operated...

Pizza was very good, beer was cold. I thought the service was adequate if a tiny bit slow. Friendly however. Facilities adequate as well and clean enough for a bar. I thought the TVs could be a little bigger and more plentiful if they wanted to show sports but it wasn't bad. Would definitely return. Didn't know extra large pizzas came with pop so that was a surprise and a welcome one at...
