We were all quite excited to stop here when touring.
When we entered there was no greeting and the older blonde woman working only acknowledged who appeared to be regulars. She was not welcoming and did not say hello when we ordered. It was not busy, at all. Sadly, she was unkind.
Ordering was quick and the menu was clear however ordering a latte seemed to further irritate the worker. She seemed to be unfriendly towards her co-worker as well.
There was a lack of non-dairy options and the worst part this experience was the latte was not good :(
I understand that bad days happen and sometimes business can apply pressure (it seemed like she was the boss) but we are customers taking the time to travel to your place! If you are unhappy don’t serve.

   Read moreThis place is a small local hidden gem. Up early, they open early. They have the cutest item to buy here most made by locals. Really miss the place.
The only problem is that the table in the corner always had the same people, and they needed to have a limit of stay. Gore Bay is very busy in the summer and these gentlemen could have coffee,gossiping outside. Not where customers can hear their rude comments. More than once, I overheard a rude comment about my family or self. Have nothing to say pleasant in such a small coffee house where staff always helping and ready to. I went there and had the same experience, with the daughter of the staff, rude behaviour and an attitude just to get a cup of coffee. They didn't have any baked good options other than choco muffins and apple turnovers. We ordered cappuccino, latte and smoothie. The cappuccino was bad.
