Any local competition would kill this run-down dive.

The food was sub-par, the service was poor, and the furniture was all wobbly and rickety.

Was there the other day with a party of four and the bill came to just over $100. I will never return, it was worth maybe half that much.

The diet cola that I was charged $2.50 for was flat and watered down. Every little thing you ask for gets charged. A cup of gravy was $1, paying for gravy is fine, getting Bisto instant gravy at a place that sells steaks is not. Asked for a cup of mayo to go with my fries, the mayo was cut with something making it weak, and got charged 50 cents for about a tablespoon. The ketchup in the bottle had gone sour and definitely wasn't heinz, even though it was a heinz bottle. The 2pc fish and chips I ordered came with the two sorriest pieces of fish I've ever seen and about half a handful of fries. Ordered jalapeno poppers and spinach dip to start. The poppers were frozen store-bought and the tortilla chips with the spinach dip were old and stale.

Our waitress was continually passive aggressive and kept blaming us for her troubles. We were in an empty room and sitting at a table, yet every time she brought something over she made it our fault that she couldn't reach something or was having trouble. Having to be a little slow and careful is fine, but don't blame your customers for it. When she brought over the spinach dip the bowl of dip slid on the plate pushing all the tortilla chips off the platter onto the table. Normally I would expect the server to grab em up quick and replace them, after all they're just a few chips, but no, she pushed the platter onto the table pushing the spilled chips outta the way and said "I'll let you guys get those, i don't want to manhandle your food."

Do yourself a favour and give this place a pass, you're better off just buying dinner at the Foodland across the street and making it yourself, you'll probably be able to get the exact same food in the freezer aisle anyway. Cook it yourself for a fraction of the cost, and you'll get much better customer...

My family and I went here a few years ago and it was great, we had it in the back of our heads as great restaurant we could go to for a special occasion. We went a day or two ago for a birthday dinner, it was nothing like we remembered and we will never be back.

First and foremost, there was a disgustingly inexcusable amount of flies in the restaurant and 0 visible way to manage the flies. No fan, no fly traps, no special lights, no mesh screens, absolutely nothing to manage the flies and the door is wide open and there’s food so as you can imagine we were literally swarmed. Constantly throughout the meal we were having to swat flies off ourselves and our food, it was a joke. The sole form of fly management I saw was a single fly trap out back by the kitchen exit, that’s it.

This is the kind of thing you expect when you go to a restaurant and get a $150 bill for 5 people, not a nearly $400 bill.

And it doesn’t end there, 2/5 of the steaks weren’t cooked properly, one was supposed to be medium and came out well done which is whatever, it happens, but the other was also supposed to be medium and was literally raw on the inside, like deep red and mushy raw.

We didn’t bother getting a waiter to take it back because it took so long and the overall experience was so bad we just wanted to leave ASAP, but they did remove one steak from our bill so I’ll give them credit for that at least.

And there’s more! The men’s bathroom doesn’t have a single functioning locking door. The main door doesn’t shut and kind of just wedges in there and the stall door just swings freely and doesn’t have anything to lock into to close. Again, not something you expect at a place so expensive.

TL;DR: Too expensive for the quality of food, flies everywhere, horrible management, the waitresses were nice, again very bad food and very expensive, do not come here until they’ve made DRASTIC changes, or just don’t...

We chose to sit outside because the inside was so crowded. The flies were very bad but that isn't the fault of the restaurant. We ordered 2 - 6 oz. glasses of white wine. (we were asked by the server if we wanted 6 or 8 oz.) We thought when it came it was a larger glass but didn't question. Turns out we were billed for 2 - 9 oz. glasses for a total of $21. We started with salads, caesar and chop house and they were very large and delicious. A good beginning. My husband ordered the pork chop and fries and said they were good. I ordered the schnitzel and didn't like it. It was extremely large covering the whole plate and pounded so flat that it was 90% bread crumbs and 10% meat. It lacked flavor but fortunately, for an additional $3.00, I ordered tomato and parmesan topping which improved it marginally. Also, hidden under the enormous schnitzel were some unseasoned flat tasting mashed potatoes, a couple of grilled slices of red and yellow pepper which were very good and 2 slices of unseasoned zucchini. We will not be returning. The cost was much too high, mostly because of the mistake with the wine and the extra topping to make the schnitzel edible. I'm giving 3 stars because the salads were very good and my husband's meal was good. Quality of service needs to be...

Been here e times over last couple years and seems nice at one point, but slowly being neglected in our opinion. Especially for what you pay for. Every single plate that came out was chipped place needs a cleaning. We got deserts and the sp called brownie was basically chocolate cake, No whete near as dense as a brownie should be. Not sure if this is right but we got a massive bowl for our second desert but a small amount of apple crumble. Pictures shows just the deserts. Bowls were chipped on these bowls also but not quite visible from pics. Other bowls were much worse.

We were lost looking for an antique shop that ended up being quite a few miles south of here . . . this place looked cute so we stopped in for a snack. Seems like this place was popular with locals and bikers and for good reason food was great! A quick drink, wings and nachos (wings were not pre-cooked always a big hit with me) and the nachos were nothing short of massive. Questions we asked were a little weird to the busy server, but she warmed up to us towards the end. Nice visit.

The experience was nice for a take out lunch. The bartender Chase was professional and courteous to answer questions while simultaneously taking orders. The food spot is definitely a go to for my family, if we were to go out together. Other than that, a perfect place to get a bite to eat on a lunch break for those who work from home or on the go. I got pizza rolls and did they ever make me think of a roadhouse.
