Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

I had ordered PIZZA on Skip last night and had the 2for1 Medium Special with a Papa special & a Chicken artichoke pizza that came In 2 different sizes, I assumed it was a small &Med but they upsized my Chicken artichoke to a Large& I was unable to write a review when I questioned it on the APP With SKIP, so I wanted to make things right by giving the review here. recently had the pleasure of indulging in some delicious offerings from a local pizzeria, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. First off, the Chicken Bacon Artichoke pizza was nothing short of delightful. The combination of tender chicken, crispy bacon, and savory artichoke hearts created a flavor explosion that was both satisfying and comforting. The decision to upsize to a large was a wise one, as it left me with more than enough food for not just one, but multiple satisfying meals.

Equally impressive was the Papas Perfect pizza, a mouthwatering blend of pepperoni and Hawaiian toppings. The balance of the spicy, savory pepperoni with the sweet, juicy pineapple was an unexpected treat that danced on my palate. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors that left me craving more.

I highly recommend trying these pizzas. I had been eager to experience them for a while, and now I can confidently say that my anticipation was well worth it. Additionally, I recently invested in a large pizza stone and slicer for my oven, and I am excited to experiment with their ready-to-go premade pizzas. I can only imagine how these fresh ingredients will elevate the experience when baked at home.

Update as of July 2025. Our last order of a New York Style veggie pizza was ok but could have been better. Crust the last two times was too thick for our preferences and this particular pizza is supposed to always be a thin, foldable crust.

Also, the seasonings are not consistent. This one was quite bland compared to some of the early ones we ordered. Definitely needed more oregano etc, to add to the flavor.

On the plus side, their call center personal are pleasant. Special mention of Gary who is consistently helpful and "on the ball". When some previous orders were "screwed up" Gary made the effort to correct things and in a quick and efficient way. This is someone who still knows what excellent service actually is! PS To the owners, Two suggestions to consider for your veggie pizza offerings:

-a Greek pizza with spinach, feta and garlic -a veggie pepperoni pizza using thin slices of veggies pepperoni as the main topping

We ordered two large pizzas while visiting Grande Prairie ( Mediterranean and Tuscan Alfredo and both were excellent.)😊 Nice thin crust, seasoned perfectly, cooked just right.

Arrived VERY quickly, with napkins and paper plates. Driver was pleasant and polite.

Leaving a new review…… My family ordered 2 large pizza. They were covered with extreme sauce it was so soggy and the sauce was like 3lbs thick was so disgusting. The last 2 times have been this way and we were in such a rush tonight we forgot to say light sauce cause their regular amount is like super heavy. It’s just so much product going to waste Honestly don’t think I will order there again anymore the only thing I like these days from them is their dipping sauce.
