McDonald's — Restaurant in Greater Napanee

Normally I know what to expect at McDonald's, my expectations are consistent with my experiences with fast food. Today I must say the poor staff at the Centre St McDonalds just could not keep up. Uncertain if this was due to the terrible system in place or because they were severely understaffed but many people likely left feeling less than satisfied.

That said I truly believe the staff were making their best attempt in a very tough situation and I applaud their efforts. My complaint is mostly with the style of line up and the ridiculous system of tracking orders. It seems inevitable to me that mistakes will happen and orders will be wrong if the system in place doesn't allow for staff to work efficiently. As a parent who has had 2 kids work in fast food I understand that the staff are doing their best with the system they're working within. Ordered watched them make the order and then this short fat woman with messed up teeth and black hair who isn’t manger took the person working on our order off it it and put them on fires while she was still doing finishing it and then the lady deleted our order so we waited for half an hour until she asked the guy who took our order “who's order is this?” To where we had to tell him it’s ours and it’s not finished he was really nice even offering to remake the order and upgrade the drinks to a large and offer a free cookie to with the lady who messed everything up was looking at us like we where the ones who did something wrong. This is not the first time this lady has messed our order up it only happens when she is working there because she thinks she’s the manager and proceeds to move everyone around in the kitchen constantly while she stands there and does nothing. I think this lady should be fired because she disrupts the flow and efficiency in the restaurant making it 1000 times longer for stuff...

My partner and I would eat here about once a week in the summer after work, all the times I had went something in our order would be messed up. We would pay for large drinks and get mediums, most of the time are fries were missing and straws, a couple of times we didn’t even get half of our meal. No orders have ever been complicated, we would order combos as is with no alterations. Three nights ago my partner drove to this Mcdonald’s durning the snow storm to get a meal for himself and just a drink for me. I had asked for a strawberry banana smoothie and received a strawberry milkshake.

In the evenings the staff, which are teenagers, take a very long time providing service to drive thru. I have waited more than 10 minutes at the speaker for my order to be taken long after the supper rush while it was dead. I have worked in fast food before, we were to follow the time limit from which the customer finish their order to receiving their meal. Even when the location was busy we made sure to maintain...
