THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ! My mother had gone out for dinner with my brother and sister-in-law when they stopped by for a visit from out of town. Everyone loved the food and ate outside on picnic tables keeping their distance from others no problem. My mother, by rare occurrence left her mask and bulging wallet (wouldn't even close) on the seat and didn't realize until the next day due to having a stressful day before. When she discovered it was missing and tried calling the restaurant, they did not open until 3pm and she was frantic that the 1000$ of cash she had just picked up would be donated to the Donovan hood (not the best neighbourhood, known for theft). Her and my uncle returned to the restaurant and banged on the door before opening hours like a crazy person to get the cook inside to acknowledge her, which again in that neighbourhood is likely a normal occurrence. The man finally did come to the door and when she explained her predicament he calmly replied that someone had found the wallet and they had placed it in the safe for her. Happy but fearing the worst (woman who had already cancelled all her cards earlier and who was relying on that cash), she triple checked and found absolutely nothing to be missing from her wallet! Whoever returned it and to the staff at Leslie's, THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND MAY GOOD KARMA FOLLOW! My mother was beside herself. We will definitely keep coming back ! You guys rock ! Oh and the food is beyond awesome of course but that's for another review...

I am visiting Sudbury from out of town and saw Big Al's smiling face. I went in and ordered the Big Boy Meal for $20.99. At first glance the portions of rice and bacon Mac and cheese were huge. Also included 2 pieces of southern fried chicken which were so undercooked that they were soft and chewy on the outside and red in the middle. The porkette tasted of pure pepper. The rice with bacon seemed old and was mushy and tasteless. The only good things were the 2 small ribs and the bacon Mac and cheese. Overall, it was a big disappointment for $20.99. I won't be back. You shouldn't order the undercooked chicken, mushy bacon rice or pepper filled porkette. The ribs were good, stick with those. I didn't bother to complain to the teenagers running the place. I just threw most of it away and left. ...

I love the food that they serve, and will continuously come back. One time I went in to order poutine, and they only had spicy gravy. A man approached the counter, one who I could only assume is the owner of this establishment. He presented me a sample of the gravy they had on hand. I was quite pleased with the taste and enjoyed the fact that I was offered a sample. I ordered and sat down. A few minutes later the same man approached the counter and offered some more free samples. This time it was their fried chicken. I accepted and was shown how delicious their chicken was. Because of this, I will most definitely order chicken from here in the near future. Excellent service and amazing food. The only thing I don't really like is the small waiting area present.
