The Regent street McDonald’s is the most disappointing fast food chain that I ever had to deal with!! The drive through put me on hold twice while the other line that came after me went threw then couldn’t even understand what I wanted and continued to get the information wrong! So after wasting 10min in the drive through had to go into the restaurant to order and the people inside are a bunch of idiots and couldn’t figure out what was going on! This makes a very bad impression on all the fast food industry as this is not the only place! There is too many people who have no idea what to do or how to deal with people and hate to say can not speak English to safe a life! There needs to be more responsible management in theses areas of fast food chain cause these poor young kids have no idea how to be a good employee! And the said part is that this isn’t the first time they messed up. I only go as my kids enjoy the food and don’t understand how unprofessional this place is! Except for today they had first hand to say “why couldn’t he take an order it was very simple I can do it” she’s 8! Wake up McDonald’s you are creating a very poor name for yourself! It is very sad that such a long standing fast food place has gone down the drain and it’s not a family friendly as it use to be 25+ years ago! I use to encourage my children to go work for a McDonald’s chain but not anymore it is a poor excuse for employment...pretty sure a monkey can do a better job and get the orders right!!! Read moreVisited this store and ordered a big mac meal. The big mac was left on the counter tray for 3 minutes before the server realized that there were no fries in the bin. She went to the back room which took a few more minutes and then let me know that the fries would be ready in another 3 to 4 minutes. By the time the fries would be ready the big mac would have sat on the counter for 5 minutes and in the heat bin for 4 minutes. I politely asked that another big mac be prepared since the one being served to me would be cold.
The server checked with the manager and came back and told me that I would have to pay for another big mac if I wanted a new one. I asked to speak to the supervisor, took another 5 minutes since she was chatting on her cell phone. The supervisor Leah acknowledged that the big mac sandwich would be cold but that the big mac is a sandwich that is meant to be served cold...........so McDonald's spends billions of dollars over the years to renovate their restaurants/systems to serve cold burgers? I immediately asked for a refund and I'll be contacting McDonald's head office since Leah the floor manager at this restaurant clearly does not have the proper manager level training. Then once my bf brought it to the cashiers attention he said “let me see what I can do “. What you expect someone to eat raw beef ???
