Pesto's — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

Very poor service and incredibly unsanitary. My partner and I decided to try this restaurant out. We had ordered water and after waiting for 20 minutes for it to arrive the water came warm and my partners cup had pink lipstick on it. After waiting another 20 minutes our orders were taken, we waited nearly an hour for our food and while we waited we discovered my partners napkin was also dirty with once again lipstick on it. When our food arrived, it arrived cold, had no flavour and was nearly inedible. My partner ordered another drink as well which we never got. The waitress never came to check on us and we had to wave her down to request our bill, we still never got the drink. I was hesitant to eat here because of the reviews, but I really have to question the motivation behind some of them because my experience was definitely different.

It was reasonably busy - 8 tables of patrons and a couple at the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the food came quick. Ordered the clubhouse. The food was pretty decent. It wasn’t perfect: the sandwich was a little dry but it tasted good, and the fries were excellent.

Honestly the menu is super reasonably priced, and as a hotel guest, I received a $10 off voucher for one meal, so my meal ended up being under $8, which was a steal for what it was.

Edit: Had the Buffalo chicken wrap the second time I visited and it’s one of the best...

The children got their food 25 minutes before I did, I had two glasses of wine while waiting, our server was kind only came to see us take our orders and bring our food I had to wave them down to get a second glass of wine, my children were done eating I still never received my food, I asked for containers to go since I couldn't finish my meal cuz my children were done eating 20 minutes before I started to eat! I don't usually complain about service nor did I complain at the restaurant but I felt it was necessary to submit a review, paying $70 for a meal not able to enjoy it was kind of disappointing, we were also the only people in the restaurant nobody...
