St. Louis Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

We went tonight as a family of 4 for dinner. When we first arrived we were told they were out of onion rings, cheese curds, dill sauce and southern BBQ sauce. We were all really hungry so we stayed. My husband,daughter and myself all ordered the rib and wing combos(most expensive meal on the menu $25 each) our other daughter got the chicken burger and poutine styled the fries. Waitress came back about 15 minutes later to inform us they then ran out of fries and were serving frozen fries 😒. After atleast 40 minutes we finally received our food. I was served first, while the other 3 had to wait another 5 minutes for their plates to arrive. Their $25 meal consisted of half rack of ribs that were overcooked and tasted like boxed ribs, 4 small tiny wings that were terrible and cold with a poutine that was maybe 10 fries in a little bowl, was missing the coleslaw as well. My husband and daughter received their meals and again small rack of gross ribs My husband had 4 flat wings and my daughter only got 3 wings with her and maybe 15 fries again missing coleslaw. Fries were also half frozen and gross. Waitress was apologetic when we spoke up about the meal and offered us coupons for 1lb of free wings for the location which we will never return to again. She did bring my husband and daughter each 2 more wings but never offered me any. My other daughters chicken burger was cold and the batter was dark and burnt in color. We will never return to another st louis because of this one location and their service. We would have turned the meals away but we were hungry and really didn't feel like going elsewhere. I was so disappointed getting a $130 bill when our meals and service was atrocious. Only good thing at this location was the beer. Save yourself time and money and go across the street to MacDonald you'll get more food and...

The only other time I had wings this bad was in Niagara Falls… at Hooters… at 11 p.m.… on a Wednesday. And somehow—somehow—that was a Michelin experience compared to the tragedy that is St. Louis Bar and Grill.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear nothing was going to go right. It was like the restaurant had collectively decided to abandon the concept of service and just… wing it. (Pun intended. Regrettably.)

Our waitress was, bless her, completely lost. She looked like someone had pushed her into a server uniform and said, “Good luck out there.” We felt bad for her—but also secondhand embarrassed. She didn’t know what beers they had. Or if the fryer was working. Or what “dry rub” meant. At one point, she seemed genuinely surprised she was at work. We honestly weren’t sure if she was going to cry or vanish into the kitchen forever.

Management? Nowhere. I assume they’re offsite trying to fix Niagara Hooters. Please train your staff. Please help them. Please do better.

The food? A crime. The wings were dry but greasy (figure that one out), the sauce was confused, and everything tasted like it had been cooked in a deep fryer with abandonment issues.

Truly the worst dining experience I’ve had in recent memory. This place should just close. Permanently. For the good of all humanity, chickens, and unsuspecting...

Absolutely abysmal experience!!! The floor was LITERALLY covered with food droppings, smashed fries, and crumbs. Didn't notice until we were leaving. Took pics...It was EWE!! Service was HORENDOUS. Ordered a stater salad... an hour later our main meal came... no salad... we never got the salad. I could understand if it was crazy busy but there were 10 tables...10, between 2 servers and a bartender. I worked at a restaurant many years ago and my section was a minimum of 10 tables on a Friday night and it was manageable!! (I told my husband I should get a job there for Fridays & show them how its done!!) Our "waitress" (if she could even be called that) was a no show our entire meal, no "how is everything, want another drink"... NADDA. Finally, I got to-go containers for our COLD SERVED meals (like where was everyone??? They couldn't even Microwave our food to pretend it was just made??? LOL) Sat for 20 minutes waiting for our bill, gave up and went to the hostess stand WITH our take out containers... and, the bar tender comes over WITH menus to SEAT ME!!! Like... seriously??? I...
