Deutsche Döner — Restaurant in Grimsby

It was our first time, we wanted to give the restaurant a try. We had to cancel our order after a misunderstanding about a false advertisement of a “special discount” of 15% that was not given to us.

Before we walked in to the store, there was posters of certain items with the writing “Special Discount 15%” and when we walked in there were more posters seen below. In addition, the store card had the same promotion and flyers next to the POS system with other discounts (Photos also attached). There were all types of discounts everywhere. After asking if we would be receiving a discount on our order, we were told the manager told them not to give any monetary ($) discounts, but keep all the posters, and flyers active. Gurvinka told us that he was only allowed to do the free Baklava discount but ONLY for Grimsby residents with the specific flyer (This was not written anywhere on the flyer or posters, look at pictures).

Walked out very disappointed, and felt like we were completely lied to. I am writing this review to make people aware of the poor customer service and false advertisement in this establishment. I am hoping the restaurant will take this issue seriously and stop fooling...

I recently visited Deutshe Doner, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu offered a wide variety of mouthwatering options, and I couldn't resist trying their signature doner kebab.

The doner kebab was an absolute delight! The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, creating a juicy and flavorful taste that left me wanting more. The bread was soft and fresh, complementing the filling perfectly. The selection of sauces and toppings added an extra layer of deliciousness to the already amazing meal.

Not only was the food outstanding, but the portions were generous, ensuring that I left with a satisfied belly. The cleanliness of the restaurant and attention to detail in presentation further added to the overall dining experience.

Called and ordered a lamb chop dinner, they said it would be ready in 5 min which already sounded weird. I arrive and the girl said she gave my order to another customer but she will make one fresh for me. I she looks at the order and says: lamb platter. I see that there 2 lamb platter so I said just to be clear I want the chop one. She looked as it was the end of the world and told me she’d already done it like I had no choice. I thought: oh well, lets give it a try. When I arrived home it was looking like a hot mess, fries were saugy because tones of sauce was on them, the meat was wayyyyy salty and dry. I came back asking what she could do and while smoking in the back, she kept on holding on to her cigarette stepping one foot in the restaurant, responded there was nothing she can do cause I already paid.
