I went here to grab a coffee before taking my kids to the park. As I walked up to the door the manager flipped the sign closed and I asked if they had any coffee left and she said she could make espresso. I assumed when she said she could make an espresso that meant yes come in I’ll make espresso. Instead I was welcomed by two of the RUDEST young girls I’ve ever met and after belittling me because I was utterly confused about how they wanted me to order I was left with one shot of espresso they billed me for two for but insisted it was two and another two shots that was filled with a cup of almond milk leaving it cold like ice coffee. I will NEVER go back here. I also just told someone at the park about my experience and said they had a horrible experience this morning with two girls as well. Don’t waste your time.

*best not to question the staff on ripping you off because apparently that makes them feel threatened and no one wants to be as upset as I was leaving that store over a cup...

Honestly, I was very excited to try this place as it is a Christmas themed cafĂ©. When I walked in, I was instantly shocked by how cool the atmosphere was, you’re looking at many different rooms and environments and only one cafĂ©. Mainly everything is for sale. As for the drinks, I got a classic lemonade and an iced chai latte and I was not too impressed with the chai latte. It tasted like milk and I had asked them to remake it and it wasn’t very good. I also got a red velvet croissant that had almost a cheese cake frosting in the middle of it, and maybe it just wasn’t my taste, but I was not a fan. It tasted very old and I could taste the food dye in the croissant. I did have a pleasant time in the room that I was sitting in, which was a pink room that backed onto a blue room and fortunately I had good company to make it very enjoyable. As for the price, it was decently cheap so I guess you are getting what you’re paying for. The only reason I would go back there is if I had...

I don’t normally leave negative reviews because I like to support small businesses whether I’m a personal fan or not. My first experience here I ordered an iced coffee for 5+ dollars and watched him pour it out of a Starbucks cold brew jug from the store, I let it go, just slightly irked that I could have gone and bought a jug myself. However, we have come a few times since and it’s been fine, convenient and the atmosphere certainly is cute. However my most recent visit left me not wanting to give them my support, or money. Maybe the small town “notoriety” got to him but the owner was rude and condescending and I left regretting buying anything. There are other cafes in Rockwood with local goods and welcoming atmospheres, friendly service and good prices, and, foodland carries Starbucks cold brew. I think I will...

We stopped into The Bearded Barista in Rockwood and were completely charmed—both by the atmosphere and the drinks. I ordered the Iced Lavender Sweet Foam London Fog, and it was absolutely perfect: cold and creamy with just the right amount of floral lavender. It was sweet without being overpowering. What really made the experience special, though, was we got to fully experience Christmas in July. The whole place is decked out in a cozy Christmas theme—full-sized decorated trees, twinkling ornaments, and little candles and gifts tucked into every corner. The Honey Room was a lovely surprise too, filled with golden jars and yellow florals. Our barista was lovely, we will definitely be back!

My husband's bday was coming up and he prefers experiences vs things so I organized a mini scavenger hunt around the area. Our first stop was bearded barista. I reached out to them to see if they would help me set up the hunt for him by giving him an envelope with the next clue to where we were going on the side of his coffee. They were so kind and accommodating and beyond friendly. The shop itself is beyond cute and we enjoyed the ambiance with our coffee before grabbing a cookie and Brookie for the road to our next stop. Thank you for being such a unique experience and my partners in crime as I threw a fun bday surprise for my husband.
